Strategy for Recycl O Mat

The FAQ has Stated This you can Start Collecting Nublonian Batteries From 8th August 14:00 CET until 17th August 14:00 CET giving you 9 Whole Days to Build up stock of Nublonian Batteries, which is needed for this Event.

Recycl O Mat Event Actually Starts on 11th August 14:00 CET for 6 Whole Days.

There is an Event Crop Called Star Flower which can be grown in all Fields but Takes 8 Hours to grow but is does gives Excellent EP/BEP of 120 per 2x2 Crop Field Size.

Normally Event Crops Grown in the Glade, Green Meadow and Main Farm Gives Less EP that compared to other Crop have same Growing Time in this case it is Asparagus which only gives 48 EP per 2x2 Crop this is More than Double EP this is Great if you want to Gain Farm EP !!!

Normally Event Crops Grown on Bahamarama Normally Gives Less BEP compared to Bahamarama Crops EP/Per Min/Hour But Hibiscus is an 8 Hour Crop gives only 108 BEP per 2x2 Field....Star Flower Just Pips this by 12 BEP per Crop on the Island.

FAQ States that Star Flower Exchange Value is only 40 but Growing Star Flower is not Essential to this Event

You Can Grow Alternative Crops that Has a Better Exchange Value than Star Flower here is list below of These Alternative Crops Only Consider growing these if you can not to bothered Gaining EP

• Crop Circle Growing Time = 5 Hours 40 Mins EV = 42
• Pumpkin Growing Time = 5 Hours 58 Mins EV = 45
• Lady Bedstrow Growing Time = 5 Hours EV = 40
• Asparagus Growing Time = 8 Hours EV = 45
• Radishes Growing Time = 6 Hours 30 Mins EV = 48
• Aubretia Growing Time = 8 Hours EV =63

But Star Flower does give Good EP on Island Compared to Hibiscus. This is only Ideal if you want to Gain BEP during this Event.

I would not grow any Star Flower or any other crops on the island if you intend to donate these crops to Recycl O Mat. From Previous Experience From this Event few times in the Past

Actually Donating any Kind of Fruit to Recycl O Mat Gives a Better Exchange Value. But Some Older Fruits and Rare Fruit Actually have a lower Exchange Value compared to other fruits to bear this is Mind. !!!

But The Real Objective is to get as Many Nublonian Batteries as you can as you going to take a few attempts to get the Givers Needed to Fill the Cloud Row + Unlocking the Recycl O Mat Cloud Row so Several Attempts of Each Pool A, POOL B and POOL C is needed to Achieve this as uou can only win Each Giver ONCE !!!

Therefore is help to Find ways to Maximise the Drop of Nublonian Batteries one of the ways is to used Refinements of Above Listed Crops to Use Water, Manure and Supergrow More Effectively

Second Objective is to Make CC in the Markets to use CC Proceeds to Buy Fruits with Highest Exchange Value. Focus your Fields on Getting many Nublonian Batteries as you can

Carnations have the Highest Exchange Value as a Crop at 142 per Crop. Maple Fruit has highest Exchange Value on Main Farm at 170 per Fruit. But Island Fruits have Best Exchange value such as Mate, Persimmon or Pandanus Fruit EV of 340, 320 or 360

Please Do Not Get Mislead that you need to Grow Star Flower Event Crops. Please Read this Posting Before Consider starting this Event Good Luck

 

2 big dog events in a row, I am so happy I am in better shape now I can sell things and make some CC.
My barn is too lacking to play, but I have been growing things just to turn right around and sell, I just don't have enough to take all the CC offered!
I really can't grow the event flower would like the EP but the CC, I really got pushed months ahead of my plans and I am going with it.

Does anyone know if we will be able to donate all Crops, or is it just the Event Crop that can go into the machine? I know in the past Crops weren't on the list but has that changed now?

 

Hi Hatzeva I think this time it is crops and fruits (both from the farm and from the island), but no animals. It is really not necessary to grow the event crops. My plan is to give roses, got about 30k of them

 

I hope you are right Mir. Being a Raspberry farmer has its downsides: I can flood the market with my 60 k+ Berries, getting rid of some in the machine would be tremendous, both for me and the market.

My plan is to grow some event crop for EP (not on the island though). Won't be using SG and manure after building up sufficient seed for planting a full field.

However most of my donation will be from the huge amount of roses, carnations, maple sap and certain other tree fruits I hoarded in anticipation of this event. Currently, I am growing refined carnations to build up batteries and add to my donation pool.

As Mooboy well stated, getting the batteries is essential to playing the Nublonian event efficiently.

Well, I've had all my xxl maple, almond and high end Baha trees out doing some work for me and this is all I will probably use to donate. My Baha is filled with animals at the moment, yielding a higher ep for me and being a higher level player I have the luxury of not growing the event crop, that and the fact that my rabbits are out in force in preparation for the next breeding event and I'm busy stocking up on and cashing in on Beavers (loving those classic II's now).

 

One day.... one day I shall be there.grumbles..... XXL...all the trees gotten on the island, may you be careful of paper cuts as you flip threw the pages of goodies in your realm.

LOL Hatzeva it's looking at your amounts that drives home the fact that I'm still a new player.
I'm going to stick to tree fruits as I actually have a lot of trees and have had them out and on the field for some time in addition to supplementing my reserves with market buys. All those elderberry, apricot, pomegranate, beechnut and pistachio trees I keep winning are finally going to come in handy.

 

Wow, Hatzeva! I thought I had a huge amount until I saw your stash! I do have 40K each of roses and carnations and around 20K of 3 different tree fruits, but only about a third of your battery total. Oh well, I will just keep working away and do my best to scoop up batteries before the event!

 

I have all my island XXL trees out and am using PAC extended with PPP. I have 1000 batteries so I am ready

I have approx 13k roses due to the fact that I have been trying to get the refinement of 25% effectiveness on super grow and since I still cannot land on it, it eats a lot of roses (using the large 1300 pot each time).

 

hatzeva - My Oh My!!! You have an amazing stash in your barn!!!! How in the world did you amass so much?? Do you Not fill FHO's??? My hat is off to you my dear friend!!!

I just checked the ev for baha crops....they are sooo much lower than main farm crops!! But some of the tree ev is quite a bit better.

The other aspect I'm a bit concerned about is the Harvest hoedown should be in about 2 months or so. I would be careful not to donate all high level tree fruit...and not leave enough for that.

 

1036 batteries? f da! I have a whopping 253 on my main farm, but I have had a ton of rabbits and beaver out, which aren't yielding huge amounts. I'm actually better off on my alt, with 426 batteries. I'm confused, tho, why an event crop if we don't have to have it to donate? I just hope the recylclo mat offers better returns than the fishing did.

 

MooBoy asked a Mod in another thread who stated (words to the effect) the Event crop is for the lower level farmers who have not had the time or resources to mass large amounts of tree fruits or crops in order to participate in this event.

 

I am full of questions about this event. First off, will the event crop, star flowers, yield more batteries than similar crops? (I am hoping someone will post their results early, as they otherwise don't seem worth growing.) The next big question, is how to gain the givers with minimum pain. (If the batteries continue to be hard to obtain, this will be a moot point for me.) After analyzing the black holes, I mean pools A, B and C, is it important to avoid Pool B until you have the givers from A and C, or save A for last as it has the highest cost? My last question, is everyone's market gone overboard in overpricing the high EV items? Best deal in Market 6 right now is kumquats at .44 cc per EV. In comparison, lemons are .65 cc per EV and maple .62 cc per EV.

 

That 250,000 EV donation limit, is that just 1 time or can you donate another 250,000 EV once you used the batteries to recycle the first batch? Because 250,000 / 50,000 would mean you can take 5 tries for Pool A and nothing for B or C, no matter how many batteries you have. That just doesn't make sense to me. And there would be no realistic chance to complete the cloud row.

So far no one has mentioned the Cork trees. Their EV is 164 (better than everything except Maple Sap's 170) and they mature every 12hrs, 10 hrs 48 min XL, & 7 hrs 12 min XXL. So you can harvest them twice a day or more and there has been so far no FSQ requiring cork. If you had all 12 trees awarded from their event out, you should have a nice stash of cork to donate.

 

Dafodily, that limit troubled me tool But if I read the FAQ correctly, the reason for the limit is that you will never have every prize available per use of the recyclomat. We absolutely must be able to use the recyclo-mat multiple times otherwise very few would need to spend real money! Cork is excellent, I have been hoarding and buying it. It is a bargain at .48 cc per EV in my market, but I am out of cash to buy more.

 

Can someone help me? I don't really see the appeal of this event. I already have the rare trees, stables and perfumery that are offered. The givers and cloud row seem OK, but not a must. Just seems like you have to give up an awful lot of resources (tree fruit, crops) to get a chance at a good prize. Stuff I could use towards LL rune and later, if there is a harvest hoedown in the future. Am I missing something?
