Strategy: Magic Memories

Now i am back from a long weekend away. After reading this FAQ. It turns out the rewards for this Event is not that appealing to me as i hardly get to use any Red Animal Pens or Red Workshops.

I do not find them effect or productive to my farming game style. As the amount of animals, Products, Breeding Animal Values and Breeding Badges does not compute well to the rewards we get....

Also there is no offer of Power Feeds either this is the First Time i have seen a Breeding Event offering no Power Feeds. Therefore i am not going to do Huge Amount of Bee Breeding as i am instead selling my surplus stock of Hamster Bees and Bumblebees for good CC...

The Conclusion is i am only going to do Photo One Level 1 to 3 and Photo 2 Level 1 and 2 and that it for me....

I now wait for Baby Boom event and work on try to finish off some Breeding Quests. At least two of them....

I have empathy for all those who not got huge stock of Animals, Products etc to do well in this event. As Many high level farmers will not be impress with the rewards either the only thing that we all seeking is Cupcake Surprise as it the remaining giver for Surprise Cloud Row....

 

Am I missing something? Saw a Mini Event announced - got excited that it would be Baby Boomer but it is in fact ... a Toolbox sale. Is there any reason for this?

I am a sucker for events so I will probably do this one if I can. Haven't done the sums yet but I agree that the lack of PF is a little disappointing.

I am going to take this one slowly and try to profit from any extra badges I get. As said, Motel is filled with Baha animals and Bees, will see what how many extra badges I get and then breed accordingly.

Have Bees out on Main and Meadow and will sell as many as I can to inflate my CC balance!

Edit: I wonder if the Cupcake Surprise will be giftable at the next (or a future) G&T? Anyone know if this is likely - might get it on one of my other farms as I think some may be unable to get it during this event.

 

cupcake surprise will definitely NOT be available in the farm shop!
Doesn't make sense to me, but so be it.
But BP is FORCING us this way to take part in the event and throw away around a million worth of barn value. If we want or not!

will we be surprised by events (mini- or normal-) in future without ANY announcements in the english forum?

It came up in the News Layer - only active for 8 hours - if you're breeding, don't forget your Pink Jelly and CR!

There will be a longer BB Fri- Sun and you will have plenty of time to breed.

All forums were told about this BB just 4 hours ago.
If BP tells their teams very late, it's not the English team's fault.
They haven't announced the OA yet cuz they must be doing RL stuff.

Done all i wanted do ...finished the candy row and have my tree ...as for doing Baby Doomer ...I wont be doing it
. My luck with skips has been zero from day one..SO i shall keep my PF's to use for something better

 

I have Surprise Candy Cloud Row Activated now i added Surprise Cupcake to this New Pinky Cloud Row.

I did some a couple of Breeding Bee Skips now selling surplus Hamster Bees it very very short notice for Baby Boom Event

 

I have finished my Surprise Candy Cloud Row (and activated it of course), Photos 1, 2 and 3 completed. I have everything needed for Photos 4 and 5 except the Ylang-Yland flowers which I will have in two days' time. Progressively decreased my number of breedings and have no extra badges - result! Probably used about 400 PF - extra badges weren't falling from the skies but a saving of about 40 PF is still a good thing!

Baby farm got a Cupcake surprise - how small it looks out in an (almost) empty field - looks much bigger on the CR!

No brilliant skips. I only breed basic animals - Bees gave one Bumblebee, Panda's and Camels were the worst - Dancing Panda and Alpaca respectively. Monkeys gave me a couple of Business Monkeys. No more breeding for me. Think I will have to save up a few tons of PF and do Castles in the Sand the old fashioned way! Breeding each and every one!

 

I'm done with photo 1, 2 and 3. If I get enough flowers in time, I will do level 1 of photo 4, but that's it for me Used 134 PF and said goodbye to almost all my Baha-animals, but keep my hippos. I had about half of the required product amount in parrot feathers, but had to give up all my chopsticks and carpets + 20 of my bikinis - just when I need them for opening the 3rd plot of Shipwreck Bay Oh well
Now I will look forward to some relaxing days - just having fun with the game! Good luck everybody! May all your animals skip and jump as far as possible!

 

Hey, Shooger, we know you are stretched pretty thin with all these back to back events. Most of us also know the usual format these things take, so we can plan ahead. Don't apologise - we are thankful that you are there as often as you are - in your own spare time too! Hope you get a chance to enjoy this less time consuming event and take a little breather - till the next one!

I know, that mods are doing it in their spare time. Complaint is more against BP than against the team here.

You haven't stepped on my toes, Clonahmon. I just feel that we forget that the Mods give their time to us voluntarily and often take the flak when things don't go according to plan. I also know that many moons ago when I started this game, there were loads of Mods and I think we have two or three now who never seem to sleep! Not sure if a lot of the newer players are aware so wanted to thank Shooger and co for all their efforts.

 

I have everything I need now to complete the event, just waiting for the Ylang-Ylang trees to give me sufficient flowers.
The skips I've received have been very poor considering I have the Baby Boom buff from the Tree of Wisdom.
I hope you all get good skips.

I'm sure the Baby Boom will be on as usual from Friday evening to Sunday evening.

 

I going to complete the first photo to get the giver and decide about whether to bail on this. After two rounds of bees through the pen strangely no hamster bee showed up..I got 13 bees higher up the rung right up to ninja but no hamster. So it will be way more PF required for this event. Surprise!

 

Got my giver, got my tree. It cost me far more than I enjoyed, the candy row isn't worth this really. I'm done.

 

Got the giver and the tree too, might do some more but will see how it goes. Baby farm is busy selling its stock of axolotl in order to buy products so it can get the final giver for the cloud row.
