Strategy: Rock and Robot Event

I do not know how this has happened - I need 4 more milled chips. I have a ton of the drops - I'm short crops! I am hoping to get one last harvest in late this afternoon, then mill those last four chips for the cloud row. My other farm finished yesterday, milled a couple extra chips on that one and got a few more SSG.

 

Another Event I wont be getting the chance to finish ...Have played 21 games ....Only 25 and 30 to finish ...with 6 hours left I don't think I am going to reach that...Don't know why I even take part in events anymore... I haven't been reaching the end of an event just lately ...Think this is so that you buy things to finish them ...which I am NOT prepared to do
Used all three fields with 1x1 on all of them using water and CAC and harvested as soon as they finished
I couldn't have done anymore then I have If I tried

Nellie_ - I think you are wrong. This was an easy event to finish IF you followed the strategies suggested by players over here! I personally opted to use only 2 fields for event crops and, subsequently, only finished the event last night. I managed 3 harvests a day, before work, during lunch and in the evening but didn't buy any baskets and only used a minimum of SG on my initial seeds.

I suggest that you in the future read the strategy thread more thorough, and plan your event. I guess you'll have a greater chance of finishing + have more fun with the events.

hatzeva - I followed your same strategy because I used one field to work on quests and replenish my bears, cats and mice for the neon pen breeding event. I still haven't finished -- did your receive any harvest bonuses from the farm wheel because after my initial crops I switched to 1x1's with CAC. I also received a minimum of 3 harvests per day -- sometimes 4. The 2 fields I used for event crops had a few pens on them too but I think the 4th harvest on both fields more than makes up for them.

 

nm - no harvest bonuses won lately, unfortunately. I just used Main 198 plots (2 BB trees, an owl + a spooky elm stealing plots) + Meadow 200 plots. I've grown event crops 24/7 since event started, mostly 3 harvests/day but on the odd day managed to squeeze 4 harvests in. I always use 1x1's and always use CAC.

finished by the skin of my teeth. I know why I was so short on crops - I refused to pull up all my trees. Because of that, even with 3 or 4 harvests a day I was short. I may have to rethink the tree thing. I'm just stubborn.

 

Me too, bunny. I have my glade just the way I want it, and can't bear to tear up the trees there. Normally I have no problems meeting crop requirements, just takes me longer, but with 1 1/2 day lost at start, took longer than I thought it would. I ended up nuking my main field and green meadow for 2 rounds (that's why I hoard SG, for times like this), and still need crops for one chip, but should finish tonight.

Having all those bugs & sudden maintenances which drove players upset, anger....
BP always know how to make players clam down a bit by throw out :

at least we could paly 18 more robot dance to see if we could get something good.

Me too. I lost my interest while playing the last few dances. Just clicked what I thought was fine. But now have to play 18 dances....

 

I'm right behind Peeps on this, whatever mistakes in the dance move she makes, I'll do the same. This is Robo line dance yes ?

Line 69 gives 3 stars as reward x 18 dances = 54 stars for those wanting/needing stars for the Tree of Wisdom.

 

Colour me unlucky! I was reading that some farmers found this event really special so decided to have a quick boogy!

Did four dances and grabbed up some PF. Now if I had only extended my routine by eight moves, I would have been able to get the CR and all the trimmings!
Oh well, like buses, there will be another event soon - or already! And another today ... not going to miss the bus this time!

None of my three farms have it. Perhaps a little glitch ...
