Strategy: The Great Chase

Me too, drops are getting bad. I am just keeping up with crops for the moment but it's getting tight. Think someone on drop duty has dropped off!
I have played 44 games and have 2,936 points. I calculate (yeah ) that I will be halfway through by the end of the day, should get my Pony Friday or Saturday and maybe finish on Monday. Curious what the Harvest Event will involve.

I don’t know if the rate had lower or not as I got wheel bonus which I had used
up all my soots and got 7000 crop waiting soot.
So, I will put half of land for long hr cop grow. as included those crops on hand
added the dective tools on hand, I will able to get 63games, only 5 away from
CR. With 194hr left, I think to spare sometime to boost the drop is acceptable.
8 day left, will I able to grow the remain 37games’ crop, It mainly depend on
the harvest event coming on Thursday, what BP game designers want us to do!

 

Family arrives tomorrow and stays until Friday to celebrate Thanksgiving. Will use CF and just do the best I can and hope to get a wheel bonus at some point to make up for late harvests. Or may consider putting in a long crop ( I have crops longer than trees) and just harvest in the mornings when I 'sneak farm' while everyone is still sleeping. That will boost my soot but then I will have to hope I can get the crops done. Decisions. Decisions.Decisions. Hmmmmm.....I need more caffeine.

 

I am so fed up that for the last 2 days, I am not even doing 2 harvests a day.

Event time 312 / 2 = 156hr remaining is halfway, currently 188h remaining

Farm 1: 49/100, 3617/6750, 2 tools in mill
Farm 2: 48/100, 3443/6750, 2 tools in mill
Farm 3: 51/100, 3747/6750, 0 tools in mill

Farm 3 is the one that is behind in crops but seems to be getting similar drops.

Proving that some of us are trainable... lol. Our memories are improving. It's really good for your brain, to fight dementia. Best to start as soon as possible improving one's brain. I'm getting more 80s today! One memory trick... if you can bear it... when you have a quiet moment... look at the pics of the different "rooms". If the pics aren't available just imagine them and the different things esp the one's you have trouble finding.
I too have trouble with the click "not taking". Sometimes I double/triple click on an item, while doing that I look at the list to see where to go next.

My initial reaction was... we got some soot from breeding. I did all the breeding I want to do. By my calculations (50 minigames * 50 drops = 2500 / 188h = 13.29) I need to average 14 drops per hr! to finish all 100 minigames. It seems like early on I was getting 20-ish drops per Main/Meadow harvest of event crops. But I have no proof. Could be my imagination... lol.
So... I've decided to do my best to speed up growing on Baha. After I see what the next event is going to request I might switch to speed-grow some carnations for a day then return to event crops. I have some SG it's the manure that's the problem.

Anyone not participating in the event please sell manure. It's selling for very high prices.

 

About 20-25 drops per field was the case here as well. Since yesterday it's down to 10-15 drops per field. By far not enough to pair up with the crop growing. Along with 1 baha field with long timed crops I started overnight long timed crops (+14hrs) yesterday on 1 main field too. By doing so I think I'll be able to get all done in a few days. Right now it's

65/100 games
4170/6750 points

Still not a single perfect game here and I doubt I'll be fast enough to get one but I don't mind doing a few extra games in the end.

I'm still plugging along; use loaded comfort during the day while at work and and singles when I'm home. Still there's a way to go.
I have 27.8 K and plenty of soot dropping from Baha. 10 more rotations after this I should get the cloud row, after that anything I get is gravy. I'm watching the pointers from fellow players like Moraine to glean any help when I start to play the games.

 

Following the reduced drop rates and the not so satisfactory results from the island long term crops I started testing different options.
I ended up with 40 stables on the Baha and 40 stables in the rainforest.
With Valentines pot and water I harvest three to four times a day and get 80 soot per harvest.
I have not checked with trees but from the moment the drops have caught up with my event plants I am satisfied as it goes.

 

Cloud row up. Now I am working on getting the Pony. Drops have really fallen off big time. I'll just keep trying with fingers and toes crossed. Good Luck everyone

 

I am in step 38 of 100. Can I still finish the event in full. Is there time for me ? Couldn't harvest the event for the past few days. Did 3 or 4 harvests only.

 

You have 7 full days to go One-Two. Work out how many harvests you can do in that time in the fields you are using. You need 43,400 crops and 3,100 drops. It's a long way to go but I am sure you can do it. Plus you may get lucky with that Wheel.

I forgot to spin the Wheel this morning before I harvested my two main fields of crops - and won +1 crops for 6 hours and then +100% Harvest for 24 hours! Unsure whether I should be happy that I will get extra crops or unhappy about those I missed!

 

Hiiiiiiiiiii illy! All the friends of illy the ladybug are causing a real problem here. Now they want their own barn. Problems!

Real sure I am happy the farm won't get but five junks and no thought given to those the farm has missed.

Now the stress is low since do 100 games is not a must as well as getting
those point award!

I just completed 68 games and have the CR up and running! I will now try for the "pony" hoping the drops will get better or

No hope of a cloud row here. BUT just got my first pony. I hope everybody gets to producing those ponies.

Anyone struggling with drops who have already managed to grow all the crops, maybe a night of trees will boost your drop rate. I just harvested one of my non-event farms to stop it going into the "red" and was getting between 55 and 66 drops for fields full of all sorts of trees, XXLs, XLs and basics. This is the only harvest I have done on this farm since the event started and I have 298 Soots from five fields. If I ever finish these crops, that's my plan - I could also do with some of that fruit from the trees!

Ahhh, FB, I am soooo jelly! I'll pass an apple over the fence - for the Pony!

Now, do game more relax as all I got is bonus to me,either the 20 BB’s crate or the pony...
