Notes

• You will receive a bird, mammal, or reptile badge for each completed breeding. Each breeding also comes with a chance of receiving an additional badge from one of the two other categories, which means the actual amount of power-feed needed will be slightly less than the amount stated at the top of this post (670).
• There is a short Baby Boom lasting only 8 hours at the beginning of the event but don't worry if you miss out, as there is usually another 2-day Baby Boom during the weekend. Those who are able to take advantage of the shorter one can make the most of it by loading up your Breeding Pen ahead of time and then harvesting as soon as the event starts.

Stars look attractive to me but its a case of see what Ive got. Not stressing I will farm animals anyway they have been negectled recently

 

Wow 670 power feeds. Totally not worth completing till the last steps unless you're flushed with PF. To be fair, you may not actually need 670 PF if you get some lucky double badges and with the 36 PF that some steps reward.

So here's what I'm gonna do

Spoiler: Mammal side

Complete until step 6 ( require 75 badges, hence 150 PF minus 4 PF at step 5) so total 146 PF

I think getting red upgrade workshop is a waste and I already have 2 sails factory

Spoiler: Bird Side

Complete until step 8 (require 140 badges, hence 280 PF minus 4 PF at step 5 & 8 PF at step 7) so total 268 PF

I'm still undecided if red upgraded penguin and tiki totem is worth 90 PF. May change this some time later

Complete until step 7 (require 60 badges, hence 120 PF minus 4 PF at step 5 & 8 PF at step 7) so total 108 PF

Level 7 seems nice since you should have excess colored chameleon (being the only breedable reptile) from all those breeding. So it's nice to get back 8 PF. I'm very tempted to get skateboard workshop since I don't have one. Maybe I'll just wait for the next G&T

Assuming I don't get any double badges during breeding, I will need 522 PF. That's still a lot tho

I have set up my Motel with a mixture of all three types but I hope I can at least get the Penguin but if not, I won't be too upset ... really I won't!

WOW thats a lot of power feed ... IF it is like the other events we have had like this ... will only be going for the basic habitat and basic workshop ...So will only be doing to level 6 on both of them
Have a tiki totem workshop already which i think gives tiki timers ...but not sure on that and have the sail factory already

I am off to fill the breeding motel with critters! I am hoping for better skips than the last event and so "Good Luck" to all doing this event!

 

Sanddollar15 - you may want to hold off on breeding - the event doesn't start until tomorrow. And I am crossing my fingers for decent skips as well. What's really odd is THIS farm - the one that's puny - it gets better skips than my other farm. Go figure.

As usual both of my farms are short on one required animal - this time around, it's chameleons. So I've got all my chameleons out on both farms.

I am having a scratch-the-head wonder as to why salamanders cannot be contributed as reptiles. I figure that the new 'newt' is too new to be included...but we've had the salamanders for a while now. Oh well...

 

I'm just not excited about this event at all. The new Penguin stable is very enticing, but to what end? We have Crabs, Sharks, Salamanders, etc which have given us something new to drain our barns and PF. Yet, what use do these new stables give us? Very little, if any.

Frankly, I'd rather they stop with this "Wild" nonsense and start releasing Neon pens. As of this point I'm undecided whether I'm going to participate. If they decide to make these pens useful in the future, they'll have to give everyone another opportunity to get them either through another event, Wonder Stables, or simply making them available in the shop. (Like they've done with Dogs, Cats, etc)

 

@dumbunny , Thanks I only load the motel but will not harvest till after the Baby Boom starts! This way I have saved on pheromones too!

 

wow that much power feed.. i had little over 100 when i started to breed the animals... now that i almost found i started to soon.. which i didnt and im glad i did now... but cant harvest them till the event starts.... i dont know how far i will or can go... but i already know i wont make all 3 maxed out... i had a few saved so maybe i wont need that much PF anyway... we shall see...lol

If anyone has got what they want from this and have extra PF left over can we maybe talk a deal? I dont want something for nothing i am willing to trade or work for it. EXAMPLE: you gave me 10 PFs I would give them back plus some cause I cant make 10 in a day.. lol But will be willing to give more back due to the fact i borrowed it from you...15 on 10 is ok just dont ask for 20 as dont think i will make that deal. I will have to stock back up and wont be able too if your fee is tooo high....lol I can also pay it forward too...

 

I put my last stable in today from the train AND got a Newt Habitat ...Couldn't believe my eyes

birds: doing step 1 to 6 to get the new penguin habitat base pen
reptiles: doin step 1 to 4 to get the classic II anaconda pen plus the wonder stables.

Totals of donations = 50,000 EV Mammals, 91,000 EV Birds, 24,000 EVReptiles = 165,000 EV animals
Totals of breedings = 10+95+30 = 135 breedings equals 270 PF minus 4 PF as a price = 266 PF Total needed

That's doable for me and the prices to be gained seem quite resonable to me for the input.

I will decide later on, if I do additional breedings or not. Just depending on how quick my mill is stocking up the PF again, or, how much value my animals have, to do the animal donation steps as well.

Love-hut loaded with necessary animals (exempt a few breedings of birds, as there is not enough space in the hut at the moment). Will harvest and reload the rest AFTER event and BBD have started.

Stickers ..we have stickers in this EVENT *Gasp* Am sure they know where they can stick my stickers ...hate wasting my time getting these

 

On the level that awards stickers, we also get prizes that if you had to purchase them would cost BB.

Just think of your virtual sticker album like stamp collecting. Some day in the far distant future, they will be worth a fortune and you can buy/sell/trade them. How about Gift and Trade for stickers? Who will take an apple tree or yellow chicken or cow dairy for a sticker?

I'd rather take the BBD chances today than the farm coin chances tomorrow, esp. as it is not sure, if you get a farm coin or not, but you will definitely get a twin on your breedings at BBD

 

They give the stickers with another prize. The stickers have to be given in the event or are you suggesting they just give them out to everyone, regardless of whether or not they did the event.

 

No Cassie I am Not ...I think stickers should be given free for just entering the event ...Not wasting time growing crops etc for it to be stuck in an album never to be seen again ...what is the point of that ?
My album is full ...so they aren't put in an album

If they were put at the end of an event ... at least players would have the choice to get them or not
