Strategy: Totally Wild About Animals

BBD and PF sale tomorrow as well I think I saw. So me thinks (oh the pain - the PAIN) that those animals I put in there yesterday might have to stay for another night.
I'm even less wild about this event than the last one, but I do want that cute pinguin. Oh BP you are really cruel, you know I want all pens and trees, so you keep luring me to do those event I don't want to so that I have it all, just in case I need them when I can't no longer have them. So I'm going for it, Hook, line and sinker. I don't have that skateboard shop, I do have that other, and not too fussed about it being red. So will stop when I can or when my PF runs out, whatever may come first. (Bet it's the PF)

 

They have to show the the stickers somewhere and personally I like the stickers. as a prize or with another prize.


I totally agree with you clonahmon. BP need to rethink their timing re giving coins with breeding

 

In all fairness BP seems to have listened and you get a sticker and a prize! And there is no growing just breeding in "this" event! Happy farming and enjoy this event! Good luck to all trying to get that cute penguin!

Moraine: I really hope you are right about the BB tomorrow. Fingers crossed! Otherwise, I'll skip the Farm Coins and do my last breeding during this weekends BB.
I love pinguins as well - They're so cute, clumsy and elegant all at once!

 

For once, I was totally prepared for this event!...**And it was THANKS to 12/12, zerodegrees, escalonilla, and all the others who post in the Grapevine** that......I Have FINISHED this Event!!

For 2-3 weeks I've been milling PF and doing Quests to accumulate PF and pheromones, and so had enough to do the event.
(I have to say I think it's a bit ridiculous to have the Power Feed sale after the first - most important - BBD!)

The skips were mostly only 1-skip or 2-skip, sometimes n-o skip, with a rare 3 skip thrown in. That's it - not too good on the skips. Really hope the coming BBD gives better skips than this one!!

But - THANKS AGAIN to all you wonderful posters in the Grapevine - it was possible to build up the necessary animals as well.

Love the red Boxing Glove Factory, new Penguin - especially the red pen, and the red Pottery workshop!
Imho, they are worth trying for.

 

I don't have enough PF to do all three sides. I'll start with the penguins/birds, then maybe some mammals... Forget the reptiles.

It's been clear from the requirements to finish this event and the previous event, doggies, that BP is stepping up their game to requiring RM be spent one way or another in order to complete all steps. I'm going to get left behind with those requirements. And/or probably change my gaming style.

Jazac, you can't sell or trade PF. Someone can spend RL to buy some for you but that is all. Or someone can buy a big batch from a sale and you can get 10 as a gift, IF YOU ARE THEIR NEIGHBOR.

Mostly you can only make PF in the main mill. That's what I do. I do not spend RM on buying the subscription tho.

 

I should have all the badges I will need by the end of this BBD to complete what I want to do. I don't think there will be a BBD during the Farm Coin event Now I just need to figure out what animals to donate Sometimes I feel like I need a 20 minute nap after doing all that math! I hope everyone gets what they want Really don't need any of the older factories given out but I have to go through those to get what I REALLY want. Off to look through the quests to build my PF back up

 

I have finished this event! I have all the stables and trees out fingers crossed I get a Bison and an Axolotl! I too have PF left and will use it tomorrow to breed peacocks and get some Farmers coins
I am 1 rainbow peacock away from getting my pink! Good luck everyone, oh yes, the penguin is just too cute!

I'd love to take credit for all the wonderful posts in the Grapevine but it's mainly 12ss12 and escalonilla who post there and keep the rest of us updated.

I, too, am eternally grateful for all their hard work.

 

well thank you for letting me know.. as i didnt know and didnt know even if you can on gift days... i feel like i just started not knowing alot of things... so much has been added since i been gone...lol

Any how, i think-- no -no- no- i know i am almost done with this event.... think i went to far as it was... but got to stage 4 on two of them and on the reptile think i will just get 1 or 2... depends on the badges i get...i had no animals and can only make one.. so i got the pens and had to buy feed for it... the umm chameleon i wanted them stars....lol

 

Zerodegrees, I'm sure someone already mentioned this, but your list of valid breeding animals does not include all that are available, such as anaconda's, tortoise, toucans, crocodile.... etc... several others . I don't know if I'm prepared to part with this many animals, never mind the incredible amount of power feed that is necessary for completion. Have fun and considering my need to complete..... I know I will probably be giving this a go..... as well as others i considered not relevant. Molly

I am going for some extra coins But may skipp the event. You just never know what usefull junk they will put in there. They might put in something useful (for me) in there by mistake, and then I want to have the coins to snap it up. Pretty sure the lovely pinguin will return in a future event. Either that or it won't be used in a quest.

 

Finished all up to level 6 ...have the basic pengu....boxing glove factory and the pottery shop..and found out I haven't got a crocodile

Deleted my comment because the wording was perhaps a bit too harsh.

It's not that I don't think Farm Coins are valuable - I do. It's just that the items worth getting in the Shop-O-Rama (in my opinion) are kind of expensive and require a substantial number of Farm Coins.

It might be worth breeding outside of Baby Boom if we were guaranteed 2-3 Farm Coins for each breeding, but a chance at one per breeding process? I just don't think it's worth the sacrifice, although some may disagree.

It would be interesting to do a cost-benefit analysis comparing the cost of getting Farm Coins through breeding without the benefits of Baby Boom vs. the usual barn burner event.
