Event Overview

• Event mechanism is similar to the 1st Viking event - grow Golden Roots and collect Drinking Horns to prepare Viking Broth in the mill, give Ingrid one Viking Broth to access the mini game, find the right combination of the 3 axe components (head, hilt, and rune) to make the best axe possible, then throw the axe at the target.

• There are 8 heads, 5 hilts and 10 runes to choose from, and every round has a different winning combination. After each throw, the specific axe parts used will be displayed on the side board and rated on a scale on 1-5 LEDs (LEDs = light-emitting diodes, represented by green dots, with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest). The ratings for the individual components will determine how close your axe gets to the center of the target. An axe with the highest rating (5 LEDs) for all 3 components is guaranteed to hit the bullseye, for example.

• We get 5 attempts per round, but the number of star coins rewarded will only be based on the final attempt. This means we have 4 tries where we can experiment with different combinations to find the best parts before making the throw that counts. If you manage to hit the bullseye within the first 4 tries, however, the mini game will end automatically and you will get 50 star coins in addition to the bullseye bonus rewards.

Notes

• Crop and drop totals have been revised to account for the 1 free Viking Broth they give us at the beginning of the event to try out the mini game.

• At the end of each round, you will receive 15-50 star coins (amount depends on the accuracy of your final throw), as well as 2-15 bonus star coins if you hit the bullseye within the first 4 tries (amount depends on which attempt you hit it on). The other special rewards (Ingrid giver and stickers) can only be unlocked once.

• It's possible to get all 5 stickers but only one special Ingrid giver will be rewarded at the end of the event, and only if you've completed a minimum of 40 rounds of the mini game. The version you receive depends on how many attempts it took for you to hit the bullseye - the fewer the attempts in a single round, the better the reward. The game will only consider your best round, so you can play as many times as you want in order to unlock the best version of the giver.

• Required daily average:
  • 1,950 / 6 = 325 drops per day to complete event.
  • 1,700 / 6 = 284 drops per day for CR and required givers only

there you go Viking warriors you can get 5 stickers this time lol I think I'm going to try it but I don't think I'm going to hurry hurry at least we can use either mill and can grow crops on all 5 lands ( 3 mainlands and baha and rainforest ) good luck everyone who decides to do this event

Like all the mini games, this one is a lot of fun in the beginning but in a short time it wears me down.
I am not going to stress this time because I have all the items of the shop. The other prizes are not enticing to me

I'm in for 35 throws with an axe and wonder what on earth to do with 5 worthless stickers. I bet the Game Team had a busrt out laugh when they agreed on giving these out. I consider this to be the real, belated, April Fools joke. It made me smile.

I recall one thread in which the strategy for picking the right axe combo was explained. Too bad I didn't find it. Anyone else able to provide the link? It'll be welcomed.

Oh well, probably rip out all the stables from Baha for this one. Needs a little revamping. Just hope those drops are forth (or fifth) coming!

6 full harvests should give you enough crops for this event.

 

I hate events where it seems I have to read instructions, there are always big big chunks of intel I keep missing. So question for all youi litterate people: What impact would the upgrade on the event have on the cloud row ? As far as I could see it would only hold value if I did not use it on the cloud row, but if I got the cloud row, why wouldn't I use it ? So I can't really see the use, even if I could upgrade the giver on the cloud row.
I'm sure I'll go normal tactic:

Fellow Vikings, if I understand the FAQ correctly, we only get 1 sticker. It depends on how or when you get a bulls eye The drop requirement is 2,000 Are we able to keep throwing axes even after we have finished the event to get more prizes? I must be anticipating for good drops to happen

I put Rose hip crop in comfort fields yesterday. I will be putting honeydew melon in comfort fields today in baha & rainforest. Don't feel like farming for few days. So giving myself a rest.
