That is one of the best FAQs I've can remember seeing. Thanks, shoog or whoever put it together. Thanks for the early release too. I wasn't expecting to see it til Mon.

    Anyway...
My approach to this type of game is to pick one of each part, doesn't seem to matter which. If I get 5 lights on any part I reuse it each time, no possibility of getting a higher count. Otherwise I pick any three parts and try again. On the 5th try I pick parts with highest number lights and throw. Exception to that is if I only got 1 or 2, sometimes 3, lights per part then I pick all unknowns. This strategy gets me very high rewards.

The example used in the FAQ... they used the two tries that resulted in 5 lights and an unknown for the 5th throw. The unknown could have been a one. I would have used the part with 4 lights and been quite happy with results.

Ingrid, the Viking Maiden, doesn't go on the CR from this event. It has pretty high rewards so I wouldn't put it on a CR for a long time.

    My strategy for this event...
I have critter pens on 3.5 fields. I'm going to leave them. That means I'll, probably, be low on drops to start. If I'm low on drops and need to... I'll make it up on the other end. I'll be busy Mon so I'll reconfigure the farm after the event starts and nuke the starter seeds as usual. Since I'll be using coupons again I'll probably grow as much event crop as I can during the coupon and long crops overnight.

I hate mini-events. They're too time consuming but... c'est la vie... or say la Farmerama...

Like Ms Wabbit, I will also be leaving my animals and workshops on all five fields, will rip them out of four fields at the start of the event, leaving my Glade with all its usual goodies intact. :)

I am unsure whether to do longer crops overnight from the start as I have found that I get more drops this way at the beginning of the event and can worry about crops later. But an 8 hour crop ... will it be generous enough with Drinking Horns? o_O

All will be revealed tomorrow. Now, the main problem is how to stop myself from harvesting before the event starts lol! :music:

Have got all my fields covered in stables and workshops at the moment ...i might clear one field for carnations and leave the rest to see how that goes
My glade has sugar trees ...salt trees ....pheromone trees... magic trees...jumbo trees and things like that ... Have some stables in it ...will take the stables out to start the 10 seeds ...hopefully the other fields with stables on might be finished by then and can clear them off

Can't wait for the event to start. Somehow preventing myself from harvesting anything from the farm except cloudrows.

I'm leaving workshops and stables in my Glade and Rainforest for a few days. Putting my longest growing plants (Rose hips and Honey dew melons everywhere else.
    I love this event:inlove::D

My electric went out for 5 hrs today due to storms so I was late getting my mainland planted in rosehips. That's ok though. I'll just start them over yonderxDxD After reading the FAQ's closer, I realize that we do get many stickers. Have to slow down and really read those FAQ's:p:p:D Good luck to all and I hope everyone has fun!!

You only need the first 3 givers (Sharp as a Viking Axe, Ready for the Games and The Great Sailors) for the cloud row.

As you can see, there is no place on the cloud row for Ingrid, the Viking Maiden. It's just an extra giver that you can place in the park, Shipwreck Bay, or wherever you please, with upgrades (technically not upgrades, more like improved versions) that will increase the amount of EP/TEP you receive from the giver every 24 hours.

Keep in mind that they give us 1 free Viking Broth to start us off, which saves us 50 drops and 470 crops. So the actual drop requirement is 1,950. ;)

And yes, you can keep playing the mini game beyond the 40 rounds needed to finish the event if you want to get more prizes from the Viking Shop.

Glad you found the answer to your sticker question btw. ;)

what am I going to do in the mean while, could practise my axe throwing, then will be at work when 1st batch of event crop is ready.

Not my day today but again not stressing on this event Ive got what I need in prizes set out if get past them then everything else a bonus

Harvest Helper just announced for May 3rd thru the 4th (purchased with BB's) zero, nw I understand the figure you have :) :) I am pleased with the amount of drops I got from baha, rain forest and what trees I left out. Just waiting on my rosehips to get my initial harvest. I wonder why they increased the milling time? :( :(

Up till now, first harvest gave 193 drops then starting up event crops with Passion Fruit and Corn alongside, I now have 282 Drinking Horns. Not too bad but would have (obviously) preferred a few more. Still, will have event crops done by Friday so will go on to longer crops after that ... or maybe before ... can't decide. Will think about it later! :wuerg:

First harvest I got 212 drops :) That was with all the pens I have out. I now have taken some of them off to give me some place to plant the event crop! lol Good Luck and lets all go berserk!

Gosh my first harvest got me 320 Drinking Horns. But Growing Golden Roots will take a fair while to grow

I am going to conserve my stock of Super Grow and Suzy Super so no need to build up Golden Roots as it works out just right so i get it right to grow during night time harvest it in middle of the night.

I hope we all get good Drops of Drinking Horns during this event. Without doubt manure prices to go through the roof Hmmm....

234 drops with rose hips, honeydews and a fringe of best trees.:) Doing orchids alongside of first event seeds to maximize flower CR, and devil's claw on Baha for time management until there are enough starter seeds.

Best of luck to all participating!

My drops for initial harvests from my three farms were: 236/247/231
I'm sure my harvests would have been higher but I had 3.5 fields of pens. The rest trees. I meant to leave one field intact on Baha with rare pens and trees for FSQs but... in the early morning pre-breakfast fog... Oh, well... just means I'll be finished with the crops sooner.

For those who have participated in this event in the past, any tips for a relatively lower level player? I've read many strategy threads for events in general & follow advice where able at my level. (level 69, no good buffs to use, magic stalk not open yet-still working on it, also working on unlocking LL rune-but that'll be awhile) I planted long growing crops (mostly roses, crop squares, oyster mushrooms) overnight last night, harvested this morn, received 29 drops only from all fields. I have many trees & animal pens as well. I forgot to plant long growing crops on my baha fields though; I'll do that tonight. Would it make a difference in drops using smaller plots or larger ones at all? Just trying to figure out what works best for drops at my level. Thanks!
