Changing the rewards on the giver items AFTER the event has started with many players having used supergrow and suzy supergrow has got to be the best way to anger the community. I don't think 50 supergrow and 5 party ticket could compensate for that.

 

Shame on BP, I decided to go for it on my baby farm too, spent over 300 spupergrows and Suzy sugergrows only to find out that BP changed things around to puny givers. That's how things are done when you want to dupe people! I'm so glad I'm not one that spent real money on baskets for this event!

 

I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Changing content after introduction has happened before. (CR that shortens mill time.) I am so disappointed.

 

It is way past time to ditch this nonsense from the FAQs: "Reminder! All the info in this FAQ was correct at the time of testing. "

 

For the next two Baha weekend quests, is it possible for the Magic Tree to give Baha drops?

I skipped the mainland event and focused on Summer Games. The night before the event began, I planted my long grow crop and harvested the next morning. I think I received about 74 snorkels. Then I began growing event crops with all the boosters I had at hand. I don't have CRs that give a boost. Late each afternoon, I planted long grow crop. I had enough drops to complete tasks 1 & 2 and have the seeds for the next event. I grew enough crops for the swimsuits, but drops continued to elude me. Using Tiki Timer for a longer grow veggie, I just managed to complete step 2 of task 3, but no drops left for any of the five swimsuits needed for the final step.

Can the Magic Tree be placed on an area where specific drops are given and yield specific drops, or are MT drops the same no matter where it's placed?

 

I too find that drops were the big issue. On the one farm I really tried to complete, I also had enough crops to make the bikinis but was unable to get the drops to mill them.

The price of the drops in the shop were just too high to even consider supplementing that way.

 

Magic Tree drops are always same no matter where you place them. It gives that drop, which it is programmed to give during event. Now it is Employee Badge. The place determines only does it give EP or TEP.

Best way to get drops is planting the longest plant before Event start. It should be ready to harvest when Event starts. There is cloud rows and decos, which improve drop rate. Save them to right moment. Grow something relatively long (not the longest) with speed boost (there is several cloud rows, which shorten time of specific plant groups), water and manure. Tiki timer shortens time of veggies, it do not need to be the longest veggie to get drops, choose the one which suits best for your time table. If you do no have Tiki timer, you can make a wish in forum and perhaps you'll get them from someone, who has more than enough of them. It is best to wish them, when there is no "hard drop", because sending them is out of daily gift to neighbours.

Kind neighbours sending rare drops is also a great help.

 

My bigger concern really is the consistency in which these fail. At this point the game developers and rep really should understand how to do their job. There really isnt any legit reasons for all the failings on a frequent basis and on an established game that has been around for over 12 years

 

I do not enjoy it much when we have multiple events going on. EV is also a new thing to me, so along with the events, I am managing that. But what I am really taking away from this round is that the drop rate is abysmal, even with 4 Howies on Baha.
