"Summer Games" Weekend Quests

Actually, someone could only do the third weekend event and get the cloudrow, as long as you're able to mill de 15 surfboards. As you can imagine, drops will be as hard to come by as in the first event... The 3 weekend events were awesome until the givers got change to charged ones. They are not a must have.

More drops, if you have some Howies don't forget to put them out before harvesting (no need to let them hang out on your field, you can just manually harvest the few plots you need cleared to put them out). Else, longer growth crops are you best bet with SG if you can spare them.

 

Thanks, Northy. I have a Howie that I donated to the Tree and think it works on all fields. I don't see it anywhere, so assume it's doing its magic. Maybe it's on vacation now and that's why drops are scarce?

I was gifted a Tiki Timer and will use that before planting some lablabs in an hour. After this harvest, I should have all the needed crops to mill the swimsuits - if I get enough drops...only 291 to go!

 

I am on my last Harvest of Lablab Beans to get the remaining Snorkels to Mill Swimsuits I have to use Super Grow on Lablab Beans Twice because there is no time to harvest remaining snorkels without using SG

The get the Cloud Row in Quest III you have to complete Quest I and Quest II to unlock Special Seedings for Quest II and Quest III

When There is event needing Green Meadow and Main Field. I put out my Super Grow Trees in The Magical Glade, To stock up my SG Barn Stock which always comes in Handy when we have short times Events usually Involving Bahamarama Field they is no way we can have instant harvest like we can in Main Field

Lately with Bahamarama Events many of us have issues with Drops , also last two events had delays and Issues lately which can mess up our Farming Strategy to maximise drops on our first Baha Event harvest to we are able have good head start with Baha Drops

I have completed QUEST I of Summer Games now wait under QUEST II Starts

 

If this event is like all the others of the same kind, the event seeds rewarded in the second stage are bonuses, ie we'll start with 10 usual event seeds in the next weekend event and will have those 10 extras. It's written just underneath the set of the 3 events crops:

Every player will get 10 seeds of the corresponding event crop at it's release. If you drop under 5 plants the system will check every 5 hours and replenish up to 5 seeds.

Players shouldn't stress out about the event crops needed, moreso for the drops needed to complete the event (why are drops so hard to get on that particular land section in baha??!!).

 

It doesn't help that we can only use that field for crops - leaves little chance to plant longer crops!
But as you so rightly say, the crops (for a change) are the easy bit ... I think!

 

I just plunked the 1x1 giver awarded at the end of this quest down on my park. There was NO +. Did they forget to change it? Did they decide to leave it alone? Not sure what's going on...

Nice to see you are back 12ss12, I hope all is well now!
I found the drops kept up with my Event crop very nicely. I was using 1x1's and had 4 howies on Baha land! After I got the crops needed I had to get about 150 more drops. I then planted corkscrews an 8hr crop and used water and manure to harvest more quickly! I finished in plenty of time!
I must say I have awesome friends and neighbors who send the "event gift" when needed!

 

Well I didnt get it done. Crops are not the problem. Just over 400 SG and couldnt get enough drops to finish the last 2 stages. I gave up there as I was not staying up until 4am (event finish time) to waste more SG and try to finish, 1.30 was bad enough.
Thats a lot of SG over 3 small events when you think about it.

 

I too did not get enough drops to finish the event. I did nnot prepare my fields for initial drops as I logged in after a long time. I had stalls. So no drops.

I am fine sanddollar ! Everything is going good ! How are you and others ?

 

If I remember right, there's a difference to the way Bahamarama fields give drops. I looked, but couldn't find where in the FAQ it mentions this.

So the drop rate is different for them as well as the what we get, and it's why we're always struggling with event drops on those lands.

I didn't move all my Howies to the Plantation field on this farm or Dumbunny's. So I had to purchase drops to finish the swimsuits for the 3 section of the quest on both fields. On SL's farm, I was done with the mainland event, so moved all 9 howies to the plantation field. I had ample crops early on thanks to various crop increasing bonuses (wheel, buffs, Jack o' Gifts), so was able to put in longer crops early on Saturday and that made the difference in drops.

I am hoping to do the same on all 3 farms for the next two weekends of this event.

 

I have only 5 Howies, But i have 8 Cloud Rows that Boost Drop Rates of Event Drops, I prefer Cloud Rows to Howie Donuts for two reasons

1. You have to give up 1x1 Field to place a Howie Donut
2. Cloud Rows is less clicking of Howie Donuts being moved around (remember we had to move those Crops and Animal Trophies around before we harvest that Field
3. There is Living Legend Rune you drop a Howie Donut into it that save you moving Howie Donut from field to field (They should open up more runes with stars to add more Howie Donuts into it)
4. For Newer Farmers it helps alot to Max out your Crop and Animal Trophy upto 15%) this also boost Drop Rates

Well I'm all ready to start this quest, but it doesn't start until tomorrow! And tomorrow, I will be at the farmer's market setting up when it starts. This makes me a tad unhappy.
