Announcement Summer Giveaway - Locked Coconuts

Howdy Farmers,

The missed days / locked coconuts is one of the hot topics at the moment. As you know, we have been getting some reports about coconuts being unlocked and next day being locked again. Due to the amount of reports, our developers have checked the code to see if it this is possible - and the conclusion was that it is not possible.

We have asked ourselves what could explain that a coconut was displayed as unlocked, and then the next day is locked again, without any log entries - but the only explanation is that the action was not saved in our database. How can this happen? The Team has informed us that it cannot happen, and you cannot see an unlocked coconut unless it has been successfully opened and registered in the the logs / database.

The cases reported have been investigated in depth, but no issue has been found, and the records show that the coconuts were not unlocked on those specific days.

The log entries are written step by step, only if everything is successful. If you click on a coconut, and everything goes well, you will get the rewards booked and collected successfully, registered in the logs, and then see the reward in game. If the game crashes, or the connection is lost, or anything else goes wrong, no info will be stored so you will not be seeing the unlocked coconut in the Summer Giveaway layer.

Therefore, we would like to say that we are really sorry for this inconvenience, since we are well aware that some of you logged into the game on the days where the coconuts have been missed, but there is no technical issue causing such an error, so there is nothing we can do in these situations. Coconuts cannot be unlocked as a courtesy either in these cases, since it is impossible for them to be opened on any other day than the one they are meant to be active for.

If you have trouble logging into the game, please contact our Customer Care Team immediately and you will be assisted promptly to make sure you don't miss the day's coconut, but when it comes to past days, there's nothing left to do apart from empathising.
