Super Shop Sale: which recipes are best to have?

    I'd like to take advantage of the Super Shop Sale, but I'm torn over which recipes to buy. :oops:

    These are the ones I do not have:

    Pink jelly
    Cheese balls
    Pretzels
    Roasted garlic/olive
    Guava jam
    Obatzda
    Sage macaroons
    Gingerbread
    Vanilla crescents
    Winter jam

    Any thoughts on which ones are absolutely essential to have?

    Just my two cents worth, I would rather use the BB to buy another owl/crow pet:) as we can buy these artisan products from the market at cheaper prices than the ingredients used.

    I have to agree with penguilnz. I have just about all of the recipes and make very few items, most are just not cost efficient to make, much cheaper to buy. The pets on the other hand are worth the BB's in my opinion. :)

    I just bought another Owl Pet (making six for me now) and a Hat warmer to speed up the process. If you don't already have a large pantry full of Pink Jelly...I would buy that, out of all you've listed:)

    Thanks, DBayes! I have my first owl now; I had no idea they gave off EP every 30 minutes - they're amazing. I think I will also pick up the pink jelly recipe. :)

    For those who like chicken and/or parrot farming: You can get orange chicken coops for 11BB and classic parrot II for 13BB, that's less than a wonder stable costs.

    Remember classic parrot houses can't be built and since we don't have wonder stables on baha yet, the only way to get them for now is either buying or G&T.

    IMO, Pink Jelly if you can't afford to buy it and don't have a good store of it. (Look at the Cuckoo breeding quests for places to earn it.)
    Pets, Owls yes, crow no. Hen/chicken if you have problems getting enough tools. Trees that can only be had through BBs or G&T. Even if you have enough of these, they can be traded in the upcoming G&T for other nice things. (IE: Christmas tree 2011, Gingko, Mirabelle plum...)

    Mir's take on Orange chicken upgrades and Classic Parrot II are also very good.

    Thanks, Mir and Sweet_Cassiopeia! I've picked up some orange chickens and classic parrot II, grabbed the pink jelly, and scopped up a chicken egg to help with tools. :)
