Thank you for an event that doesn't require any growing whatsoever. We can do the event as well as concentrating on our other farm projects ... a welcome relief! :)
Of course, that's a lot of drops but I will enjoy it all the more for growing crops and raising critters of my own choosing. :music:

Edit: I misread the FAQs and thought we got one drop from mainland fields and the other from Baha fields. I am a little bewildered why the Water Pods, which we need more of, only come from three lands whereas the Fruit Packs come from all lands.

I second the above. A nice way to allow us to do what we individually need to do, and yet still participate in an event.

    Can only agree on that!
Farming as we want, still taking part in an event.

I do like the fact that we don't have to grow anything for this event, but that is only because our farms are busy growing stuff for other events, so let's not let that little tidbit escape us here.

However, I'm having a difficult time getting the required amount of water pods to finish and wonder if anyone else is seeing that trend? Seem to be overrun by the other required drop item but the requirements for the water pods are very high.

Yes Laurelei, I had noticed the same with the problem of possibly not getting enough water pods so I switched from normal farming to planting all 3 fields with 1x1 rose hip in the hope of getting the CR. I doubt very much that this event could be finished with only 'normal' farming. I think we've been lead into a false sense of security with an event that just allows us to do normal farming to receive drops.......hmmmm, we'll have to wait and see if other players could finish with just normal farming and not mass planting of long term 1x1 crops on all three fields. I have also noticed that even from a field full of 1x1 rose hip, I was not able to get 100 water pods.

I have been doing two lots of crops for FSQs, normally Orange Pansies or Clematis and Gentiana and have been getting around 100 Water Pods on both fields. My Glade has a mixture of animals, workshops, multibuildings (all three types) and jumbo pens. This field gives me a little less - probably between 50 and 70.

I will get the CR today and have two more days to try for the other layers but I don't think I will get both the ones requiring Water Pods - just depends how many I have at the end which one I choose. o_O

On the other hand, cos they come from all fields, I have already enough Ration Packs to finish all layers. I have 1,788 and only need 1,350. I find it most illogical to have the Water Pods coming from just three fields and the Ration Packs coming from six. -.-
Was this a misjudgment, an error or a ploy to get us to pay for Water Pods - guess this is not going to work for most of us! :music:

I like this event since I can keep growing food crops while still participating. Much better than the last time!

My only critique is that the rules for the water pods and ration packs should have been reversed, since we need so much more water. But otherwise this is a good event. :)

i need 1500 water pods and less than 2 days. I have plenty of Ration packs and done with them. I am not sure i will be able to finish it. i will see.

I was able to get the CR but because of the amt of water pods needed I will not be able to get higher awards. I have a lot of ration packs and no longer need them but since we got ration packs from all six fields i think it should have been the same with the water pods.

I completed this one, clearly set up to draw players in as far as they could get before buying baskets to complete, but you got to get paid I guess.

It just felt a bit cynical; the ratio of water pods to ration packs.

Agree with the water pods issue - I got the cloud row but not going to get the stables & trees but oh well. I'm certainly not buying 1500 water pods at 2bb each to get a few stables & trees.
