TAGGING.

Ok I love to say names in my posts. I did not know there was an issue there with it. I never said one time a player/MOD had to be here 24/7. I mean do I have this right? Or am I wrong?

I am not sure I understand your problem. If you are referring to linking forum names as in this post here, then no, it is not against Forum Rules.
Understandably, no one can be at the computer 24/7 we all need to sleep Work and Family commitments also impact the times we are available. Moderators are volunteers only, so we can only be available when time permits. Also as Players and Mods live in different areas of the World, it is possible the Mods are sleeping when others are awake

No I just never knew linking a name means they had to be online to reply. Guess I need to read rules more.. just never thought that be in there..

EDIT: Sorry. I won't link you MODS again. I did not know that was an issue. In fact I think I will not post no more in forum. See I had a chance to be a MOD. BP said no.. So oh well. If what I think is true. Then I will never be a MOD. I mean linking names any names MODS or not.. How can that be an issue?? I just can think of one thing.. And that alone says no to me ever reapplying.

EDIT: Sorry but if they had that kind of system Ya be mad as all get out for people even asking for help. If they have that system in place, then tell me why you so mad at me? When you took this job, you accepted all. Did you not? Thing I want to know is where is the MODS for important things if this is in place? I am sorry I had it.

I know you mods are over worked. You need to let BP know you need a break. MY word it's not hard. I know they are a company and its not what they like to hear. But you do have a life. I also know working harder which you have done so much means a place on pay roll. They owe you that shooger. I mean if they care for you being a MOD even, they add you. You have done more than one I know. And that person is still here. Not every day, But here and a team leader. Besides if they care for their game and the money they will listen.

EDIT: sometimes to move up means to speak in some places.. SPEAK... you earned it.

Let's take one thing at a time so we can address the different issues you raise:

It is not against the rules to tag a player in the forum. You can set an alert to be notified under Alert Preferences and when that person logs into the forum next time (or refreshes the page), they will receive the notice. Yes, you have to be online and in the forum to see it.

Regarding an application to be a MOD...I don't know when that occurred but there are many factors that are involved. Perhaps you applied when the team didn't need any more people. Just as in real life job interviews, perhaps there was someone that was a better fit. That in no way is a negative reflection on you. It may be disappointing but try not to let it be cause to leave the game.

Yes, we are here to assist all players. We try our very best to provide timely responses. Please understand that if something needs to be passed on to the Game Team, it can take time (sometimes an extended time) to receive further information, but as soon as we do, we will reply. We are 'the middle man' between players and Game Team. We do not set their duties nor the timeline to fix issues. We do not know and therefore, cannot pass on an answer until we have one.

To me applying it was long ago and yes, your right can be filled at time i applied.

I never had a issue that needed to be past to game team that I could NOT deal with. Meaning we ask for help. if you mods can't help, and game team needed. I never complained. I understand. so do others even newbies. Even though they mad they can't play. or issues what not.

I Know you MODs work super hard. I always link names or thought i did and never had an issue till now.

 

You know what. This is getting no where. You MODS have way much more important things to do. Please close.

 

When I said that, my point was that you tagged me just a few minutes after you asked the original question. I never said it didn't work. You asked a question, and then waited only 10 minutes before tagging me and asking the same question again. My point was that neither I nor anyone else is online 24/7. Wait a reasonable amount of time for a response before tagging people to demand a response.
