I'm desperat, such lousy droprate.

 

Almost 10 days left... plenty of time to squezeeeeeee out those drops.

 

Yeah, plenty of time as long as you get at least SOME drops. This morning's harvest - habaneros (the 14 hour veggie) I got ZERO drops of tiaras. None. zip. nada. Dirty words may have been uttered.

 

Just milled 7 flower leis instead of 7 flower tiaras
Now will have to wait for more drops to try to mill the right one.

 

I realised two days ago that I am stuck on Level 3 - don't have Turmeric unlocked but I'm buying and selling and questing to get those Golden bananas. Need 7 more to unlock

Drop rate of tiaras for me is also poor - have 49 Tiaras, and 3 Flower Tiaras already made but I'm only doing up to and including level 5. Here's hoping that I'll make it

@dumbunny Really ? I did the same over night and got I think around 15 ? from each field. You are sure it's not a visual glitch or something?

 

Update on my little experiment to see if short time crops provide more tiara drops, using full fields:

1 harvest of event crop yielded 5 tiaras in 8 hrs
4 harvests of pineapples yielded 0+3+1+2 = 6 tiaras in 8 hrs

I will now try a round with a 4hr crop (2 harvests), result posted sometime tomrrow.

Quick calc learned I still need 280 tiara to finish. About 30 per day. At this rate it will be a very close finish (or no finish at all).

 

GB count = 0, turmeric unlocked!

Now I can proceed! Thank you, everyone, who gave me encouragement!

Moraine - yeah. It was on my other farm - the main Baha field yielded 4 and the rainforest yielded zero. On this farm, the main field yielded 8 and the rainforest yielded 6 - same crop. I put that in because I didn't seed the fields until after 9 p.m. last night, so went with the longest I thought I dared. I also had CR buffs running - the two of them that are supposed to increase the yield of event drops - and zero tiaras. Honestly, that's been my luck on that farm lately, so I was more disgusted than shocked.

 

Just did a skim on this thread. I decided not to go for this one since I didn't have ginger, turmeric or papyrus unlocked. I am glad I opted out. Did one totem on the first layer and couldn't proceed.

brakenjan - Have a good conference. Use puffin and you can sneak in a harvest or two. It is bit more tedious but doable.

 

Am 10 leis away from finishing totem 12. Drops are crazy low, but I kinda expected that when they gave us so much time to work on this event. I'm taking a break from event crops to grow chayote for hopefully some reasonable drops. With the tiki totem buff and alchemist buffs, I'm hoping it will give reasonable drops overnight for not a horrendous amount of turn around time. Will have to look at FAQs a little closer and plan if I need to put out a few more trees for string drops. Overall, I think it's progressing reasonably well, and I'm loving the prizes; drooling over the prospect of another hummingbird, lol.

 

The drop rates are low especially on tiaras. Best I've had so far was with bonnet cactus I got 10 tiaras for per field on the morning harvest. Even with a longer timed crop I've only been getting around 7 so that felt huge. The event crop is pathetic I usually only get 1 tiara a harvest.

I'm through eight and have only had to maneuver around my own stupidity with Betel nuts and no elephant breeding so far.

 

I need to put my two cents in on these Tiara drops too! I got 3 from the "morning harvest" and have been stuck on level 9 for two days now! The only reason I made it that far is because I have great friends and neighbors

 

I’m at layer 4, finished 1 totem and working on other 1(diamond one), which need 6 flower leis.
Once the crop ready, I will done this totem as the other stuff are all ready.
For layer 5, since all give rare stables, after consider the production time, snail will be drop!
since it’s growing time is shortest.
5 white elephant f’or the lion stable is a very good choice only with :
you had open the meadowgrass as well as pitobma fruit tree statue!
Otherwise, you even cannot buy them on market.
110pcs of fruit seem to alot, but still could grow. with SSG and eat pineapple cake, buy 16 trees(yes,
you need to have that CC): harvest only once time can got(4+2+1),so it will not consume too much
your space on Baha. Then you can quickly release the space back to other usage!

all my consideration base on the fact : Can got the drops need to donate or mill
product. If drops is a big barrier, only do what you could afford!

 

I did a full field of Saguaro (getting 6 from each small plot) and only got 6 Tiaras.

Add me to the lousy drops list! I agree Cassie, pitiful results from saguaro, also bitter ginger.

 

I can understand the bitter ginger, it is bitter... But the Saguaro?
As a premium player I got a little bit of an extra push, Am now half way on Layer 7, waiting for 40 more tiaras before the last two totems. I have bamboo on one field and a "hat-was-I-think-it will-never-be-ready-before-bedtime" event crop. Won't have those 40 tiaras tomorrow morning, but I stand by my words, I'll get my wrinkles in a more fun way that worrying.

3 harvests of chili (4hr) yielded 2+3+5 = 10 tiaras in 12 hrs, equals 4 per 8 hrs

Althou only based on my results, Tiara drop wise I think it is profitable to switch to short(er) timed crops the moment you have all event crops needed for milling.

I now need 230 more tiaras to finish. Ugh!

 

I got about 25 tiaras from comfort fields on baha and rainforest using chayote with tiki timer, white innocence, fruit cake, SG, water & manure. That's the best result I've had - much better than using 1x1's. It's just over 8.5 hours for harvest. It also eliminates the need for harvester if you just rely on coupons, etc.
