Temple Monkey Day Strategy Thread

My CR from this event is up & running.

Obviously, I need more training in patience. LOL that was the hardest part of this event.


But, then again, I've been aware for decades that I insanely rush to get stuff down just so I can do nothing. I am an oxymoron.

 

Wow!! Congrats, sglick I am on the last 2 totems (layer Have all 30 of my flower leis and 14 flower tiaras. Crops should be done with the next harvest and that leaves 77 tiaras(3 in the barn) to wait for I waited to collect my one Comp pkg so I got extra crop for this event and the MM one.

 

Opted for Yak and Lion in Layer 5. I am at layer 6 - waiting on the event crops to make leis. Need more tiaras.

Happy with my progress - since I ignored the event for the first few days. Glad I decided to give it a go.
Going to focus on using two fields for most of my crops. Prefer to build up some animals and products on the other field.
Going to try the CF strategy.

 

Has anyone found the right crop to drop a nice number of tiaras? It seems one crop drops on one field fairly well and then the next field I'll get none or some times only one drop from that same crop.

 

If it were that simple Sarann... Someone would have posted their results and others would try to duplicate.
This quest confuzzled just about all of us looking for that answer.

 

Well it is isn't coffee. Just did a whole field of 2 x 2 and go NONE.

 

Well here I go...CR up and running..was in need of 43 Tiaras and overnight Saguaro on 3 fields of 1x1 gave me 48 Tiaras..Good Luck Guys.

 

The same here: saguaro did the trick: event completed! Loved the totems! Special highlight is the hula-hula dancers!

 

HELP! I ran out of totems to build. Now I'm lost on baha. Trying to find any spare tiara drop was good fun. *cough*

PS. it looks like the game team upgraded the drop rate today, make good use of it!

 

Ha!!! I am down to my last 4 flower tiaras and I will be done with this event Planning on putting out trees and rare animals. Although I should try to open that last piece of CF Congrats to all and hopefully people got most of what they wanted.

 

Wish it were true - I haven't noticed any improvement. Saguaro didn't produce very good drops - got 13 total from 2 fields on a 24 hour crop - pitiful. For me, the event crop gives the best drop rate. go figure

 

I still need 65 Tiara's (for 13 Flower Tiaras) to finish (if I counted right), down to my last two on the last totem poll for the lobster and CR, stressed out!

 

Last totem, 12 flower tiara will finished.
I now using CF field to boost the drops, 77 hrs remian, sure enough time to go.

 

Just finished!! Whew!! Now to put stables out for Happy Stable Day!! Good luck to those still working on it.

 

This was a fairly easy quest other than the trial in patience. I did saguaro after getting my event crop done. I could do twice a day while doing stuff in RL and got the event done on Saturday morning. Just was late posting with all the weekend stuff going on.

 

Finally, one field of habaneros gave me 23 tiaras. Hooray! Am done!!

I know it was easy with plenty of time but for some reason it still felt like I was going to the dentist. Best of luck to all!

 

On the last level. Also had luck with the habaneros - 21 tiara each on two fields! Best return yet. Do believe I see light through the jungle trees now.

 

After what has been a ridiculous low drop rate for every long term crop in Baha this morning I harvested a field of honeydews and got 30 tiaras and then 22 on a field of bitter ginger. Since I got zero on a field of saguaros yesterday I'm thinking they have been playing around with the drop rate.

Sadly I'm still not quite done but at least the end is in sight now with only a few tiaras now needed.

 

I have been pleased with my progress considering I started late. I have completed 7 layers. Looked at the 8th and I can possibly only do one totem. Do not have habaneros or tumeric open for the other two. Tumeric is closer - but I only have 7 GB and need 35 to open. Can get 5 GBs from the Spider Event - need 12 Spiderwebs that I should be able to get that with my next harvest. Can buy 5 with FC - That brings me up to 17 of the 35 needed for Tumeric….
