Before sending my feedback (prematurely as it will be), I need some clarification on the event. The very first task will already stop many people from doing the event simply because the requirements might not be within their ability at the moment... (Hibiscus and/or Papyrus need to be unlocked in your temple)

After reading through the FAQ, I'm still a bit unsure if I understand correctly or not, so your input will be very much appreciated.

    1. We will need to construct 2 totems for each layer. (There are 8 layers)
    2. We can choose between 3 products, in 5 steps, to construct the first totem but after constructing the first, the second totem will only have 2 possible products in each step to choose from - we can't construct both totems using the same products.

My first 2 totems will be:
    50 Hibiscus250 Frangipanis
    150 Peanuts2 Sloths
    20 Jocote Fruit1 Tiki Totem
    300 Aloe Veras250 Frangipanis
    3 Koalas40 Ebony Fruits

I don't have Papyrus, water lilies or Goji berries unlocked, thus my choices...

If this is correct, then I can at least construct 2 totems in the first 5 layers but by layer 6 I will be stuck, as the 4th step requires Strings (drop item, which will hopefully be plentiful), Goji berries (not unlocked) and Acai berries (not unlocked).

Layer 5 has the best rewards for me personally - I need 2 of the stalls they offer as reward, so I don't mind stopping there, but I still think the requirements are a bit high for a 'medium' event.

Did I understand the requirements of the event correctly? Is there something I might have missed?

    As I understand it....

For your first totem, if you choose hibiscus, then you are building the obsidian totem which is all gold. That would mean your third level requirement will be a tiki totem and not jocote fruit.

Your second totem is diamond (alabaster) and your third requirement is water lilies, followed by goji berries and peanuts.

We get to pick 2 of the 3 colors of materials and then that is the requirement you stay with until that totem is finished in that layer.

Thanks PnP! This means I'll get stuck that much sooner...

My GBs are very low but I'll have a look through the FSQs, see which ones offer GBs (that I haven't done yet), and hopefully, I'll have enough to unlock the necessary things.

    Good luck to everyone!!

If you haven't already opened your crates from the current Treasure map event, you may find some GB's there. I opened 80 crates on my 2nd farm and among the goodies was 35 GB. Hopefully that will help you unlock some things you need:)

Once again my mind is getting muddled trying to understand this event:(:( Are we going to be able to complete it all or just part of it depending on what we start with?o_O

EDIT: I re-read FAQs... again:p and see drops will come from 2 diff sources, Tiaras are from crops and Strings are from trees and stables

Julie, from what I understand, a total of 16 Totems will be constructed if you complete the whole event but there are 24 possible designs.

There are 8 layers to be completed and each layer has 3 possible constructions (8x3=24). Silver, Gold and Diamond or rather, Teakwood, Obsidian and Alabaster. Only 2 Totems will be completed on each layer.

If you start with Gold (Obsidian) on layer 1, you will need 50 Hibiscus, 150 Peanuts, 1 Tiki Totem, 250 Frangipanis (Event plant), and 40 Ebony fruits. Then you need to construct another Totem on layer 1 but the Gold one will not be available anymore so you need to choose Silver or Diamond.

The rewards for each step differs so choose carefully which rewards you prefer before you start construction. Once you start, you can't go back and choose a different one - for that specific layer, next layer, you choose again.

Thanks again PnP for clearing that up for me ;)

I've now unlocked Papyrus so I'm in the clear up to Layer 5 (as long as I can breed a Mammoth for layer 4 :wuerg: as I don't have Chayotes unlocked).

    Good luck everyone!
