Temple of Doors Event Strategy

I got all the ep givers and the cloud row. I finally got the last one in the room 6 on the right last night. I had to do the left room with 4 squares in the 5th room in order to get to the the 3rd giver again. I going to continue to play for some of the other prizes that are still left.

 

The best thing about this event has been the banter between players ... some of its been hilarious LOL
And people helping one another when its been needed ...and giving hope that we may actually have a chance of reaching the end of this event

 

I decided to get all the keys before entering any doors. I would do 3 or 4 square keys while doing the other keys. If it seemed to be too many of one kind I would quit for a couple of hrs. I guess it balanced out because I ended up with 3 circle and 2 triangles more than I needed. Made going through the rooms in a matter of a few minutes very easy. Best of luck to all still working and keep trying you can do it!

 

I just had 83 tickets and needed 2 circles. That's all but I didn't get any! I can't believe it. Now I have to wait for more tickets

Yeah finally got a wave, now I only need two more for the last door. 11 extra keys, so far...

 

On BW, I still need 8 wave keys So far, I have 19 extra keys. Very frustrating. I'm glad to read that others are finishing up but I am now waiting on stone tablets to try for more keys. It would be different if I were not able to farm on time or needed to improve a strategy but this random stuff is no fun. I wouldn't mind the 'random' feature of getting the keys in different orders but once you reach the maximum number of keys (14 for wave, circle, triangle, and 21 for square), I think you should not get any more keys of that specific kind. It will be very disappointing to not finish through no fault of mine.

Finally go that stupid triangle, with 11 extra circles and 2 extra waves. Now I discover I have grown 700 too many lobster and not enough silver vases to generate the final five squares , had I not had to pointlessly convert my crops I'd be done and relieved. For 50PF I may as well keep growing (stupid FOCD!).

I got the Cloud Row and givers and a couple other prizes but, done growing these lovely crops! Have Circles, triangles and close to 900 extra Stone Tablets left over but, not many crops...Whew!! My left shoulder FOCD is telling me to continue growing and the right one says, just stop it already..!

 

I only got 1 triangle on my follow 5 exchange.
I still need 4 more triangle to got the last deco.

Finally finished! Geez, worked all day for enough tablets for the last triangle 4 wavy's then voila-a triangle! Tablets would have probably been just fine, had I not started the event with empty fields-my own fault. 4 wavy's left over, but a couple thousand of each event crop left over. I just did the event willy-nilly, thankful the randomness spared me it's cruelty. Even the mystery trees were kind

 

I'm finished. Can anyone give me a HALLELUJAH???

I agree with all that you. The closer you get to finish, the randomness is more awful.
Yes, we should keep smiling just like the beauty contestants do and do on the event just like them.

I tried not too dream in circles. But what I got out of 3 keys are 2 circles and one wavy. Somehow my attempt penetrated my circle dreams and got me one wavy.

Great. I am following your steps very closely. I too got one wavy finally today morning. And still need 2 for the last step. With that I am finished. Got 11 extra keys - 9 circles + 2 triangles. Special thanks for devising that strategy of opening the middle one and go for special keys first. That helped me a lot.

Does anyone want those 11 keys ? Just pluck them from my farm. You needn't ask my permission.

This seems to be an occurring theme. The elusive pesky triangles.

I have loads of circles and waves but no triangles. It should be re-named the 'T' word.

Have the 3 givers now but making hard work of reaching the magic stalk row.
I shall plough on and see what happens.

The exchange fairy gave me the cloud row this morning .... the only door I have to open is the sticker and I do not need or want something that has no value ...would sooner have the left over crops and drops to earn the tep and cc's that I have worked hard for or to give them to someone that needs them IF I could
I am left with 15 waves...6 circles and one triangle.... (had 18 waves
only used 3 of them) what a waste of crops and drops and my time

I lost the plot to this event and got in a bit of a muddle near the end ....
A BIG thank you to the people that put me back on track and gave me the the will to carry on

Now waiting for yet more of the crops to finish ...so I can put my trees out and 3 secret stable masters I had forgotten about

I am SO SO pleased ...this is the first time EVER in 6 years of playing.. I have EVER got something good from stables and trees...I got a grapefruit AND a Pink goat stable

 

Got another wave last night, but no luck today, so back to growing crops
