Temple Question

I just used 40 golden bananas to unlock the harbor - it is still locked, and the next section of the temple is asking for 45 more golden bananas to actually be able to open anything in it. So what exactly did I just waste 40 golden bananas on!??!

 

Hi. I'm not a mod, but I think the harbor statue unlocks the quests for opening up Shipwreck Bay. You can't grow crops or plant trees there. It is a place to put your EP givers. Happy farming!

 

Hi, @forcryinoutloud . Most probably, you've opened chamber 8. It costs 40 golden bananas. The harbor costs 30 GBs. Go to chamber 8 and click on the harbor statue to open it. I hope it works this time. Good luck.

As Nala777 stated, Opening Chamber 8 costs 40 Golden Bananas. You can then open the Harbor Statue for 30 Golden Bananas. As birdiesaunt1951 stated, once the Harbor Statue has been opened, you need to complete a series of Quests to open land to be able to place giver items/pets there. Here is the Shipwreck Bay FAQ.

I spent the 40 bananas - as I said above. Nothing happened - and no new quests have appeared. I see the harbor statue now, unfortunately the 40 bananas I spent were the last I currently had. So I basically wasted them, because no, they did not unlock chamber 8. When I click on the first totem in the chamber a red arrow points to the plus sign where it tells me I need to pay an additional 45 golden bananas to be able to actually unlock any of the totems in chamber 8.

You unlocked Chamber 8 on 2019-02-19 21:18:19. The 45 Golden Bananas the temple is asking for is to unlock Chamber 9. You may need to use the arrows to navigate back so you can count to the 8th chamber correctly:
