-.-You know..... I picked a few areas in this game to iggy <ignore> and this was one of them, basically because I lack education in them,, the star eating tree just milked me out of close to 300 stars and I am recovering from the mad dash to get goodies now....
I pick this one artisan area to stay away from as readings say ya and nay to it's usefulness now this hints at it being a good thing?!? o_O
:cry:ohhhh, the pain, off to earn more stars.....I will never get ahead!:p

keltic ! I am same as you. There are several players to keep us company in this area. As you say Alchemist is one of the area which I ignore too. Can't make out anything from them. That's why we are expecting a change in it.

As usual, some one give a better translation of the Spanish words in the first post. What has goat to do with it ?

I don't believe we will see a rework of the alchemist very soon, see this answer:

I have however heard the "alchemist" mentioned in connection with the new permanent tree quest. But I think it is just the story that is told in the Farmers Society, I don't think it will involve the artisan trade.

Ahhhh, it's gonna be like waiting on the coming soon, be on the playing field come this...... as the coral area I keep reading on. So no worries it will happen anytime this year. Got it thank-you thought I had another green bean on my plate<hate green beans>:wuerg:

Yeah, I have a list of don't get it then don't want it and somewhat think I got it, that area falls in none of the areas so glad I don't have to think on it!

Yes Mir ! Thanks for the details. I have some part of the story but not the entire one.:)
So that's what is meant by the reference to goat. We will be getting new trees with upgrades in the event. I had a slight idea that it might be so but couldn't clearly understand the translation. Thanks Mir.

Whether its in early stage like Alchemist or its in final stage like coral reef, we have to wait wait & wait. And wait always means a very long wait ?? Very disappointing.:music::p:) Want to see some new changes in the game other than the events.

I have to agree with you all.....only after spending the stars to earn the alchemist; I learned that it is not all that useful. I spend more time in my floral shop and my spa. I only use the alchemist to make gnomes to speed up special events. I wish we could gift those gnomes like we can gift floral gifts and spa gifts.

Hmmm...I also thought the ultimate goal of an alchemist was to transmute base metals to gold. Just a random thought nothing to do with the rumors.

The farm dwellers look with incredulous amazement on this unusual walking image . Has the nasty Borsty again played a trick on them? Waves of trees walking. Do they want to play games?

I have found with this game that I ignore lots of stuff ... then it ends up being important. For example, one particular item I didn't try hard enough to get was Bat Breeding. It was a prize in a long ago event that I didn't finish and, in those days, I didn't think I would miss Bat Breeding. There were always so many other aspects of the game to concentrate on (including several breeding animals already) and I could still get Bat Breeding in Jack's Shop when I was ready. Then, I believe it was either the introduction of the Tree of Wisdom or maybe the Cloud Rows, and all of a sudden, Bat Breeding was a real necessity! :wuerg:
So, more recently, using this (my tried and tested!) logic, :p, I decided that I would chip away at the Alchemist ... just because I can! :D It has nothing to do with the fact that I have reached Level 5 in Confectionery, Bakery and Florist. The Spa needs only
:)music:) another 25,000 points so it makes sense to try to level up with the last Artisan. I am now at Level 3, needing about 26,000 points to get to Level 4. The only downside is the unbelievable numbers of Pain' Palettes required and the absolutely useless products that the Alchemist offers! o_O

Still, like I say, the plan is to finish it by hook or by crook just so that I can say I've done it ... and of course, if it should become "important", I will be ready! :inlove:

What is even funnier (as in strange and not ha ha) is that I haven't opened any Artisans on my second farm, seeing no real need for any of them for the moment. I buy anything I need. This may change in the future but I have plenty to keep me going for the time being ... maybe I will open Alchemist first! xD

Sorry if I'm missing the point here but what is all this about the Alchemist? Is it an upcoming event? Do we have to have the Alchemist open to join in?

It is just the story that will be printed in the farmers society along with the new FSQ "It's alive" that'll come tomorrow :)

I like the story better than the quest. Rewards are just ordinary. :(

    Hey there,

Agreed nothing to do with the alchemist; again it is low priority for BP as of now.

I like the quizzes though. 5. looks like reversed typing.

    2 is:
The codes are ASCII values of the characters.

    Cheers from French forum,

Ah ok, thanks Mir! And all these codes that things are written in..how do any of you know what they are? What are they used in RL for? (Obviously I twig the back to front writing lol!)

ASCII is a computer code. Machine language. Computers only know 0s and 1s which are really on and off switches. Grouping them into sets of 8 allows coding of letters and such. Think of it like Braille. Thankfully there are web programs that will translate it for you. (Many years ago, I could read it but I'm way out of practice.)

BlackCavier did you study computer science? Is that the reason you knew how to read it?
