Thanks crzy! That's the song I was thinking of. Haven't heard it in ages :) though...

Indeed they are!! I'm a lucky farmer to have both as my neighbours. They have been my Mentors even before the Mentoring 'system was introduced. I've learnt so much from these girls I'm forever in debt I think :)

Metallica, System of a Down and some of the best words to confuse us Brits! I remember thinking how does that work when I heard peanut butter and jelly sandwiches!
In the UK, this is jelly (for those who don't know our little quirks):

    xDxD

I have a very good friend that married and moved to the UK and what does she miss most? PB&J sandwiches! I paid a small fortune in shipping to send her an enormous jar of peanut butter last Christmas.

Pretty sure that would be Jello or Gelatin without the trade name. Jello is one of those items where at least here the trade name has become synonymous with the product. "Kleenex" instead of tissue,"Xerox" instead of copy and if you are from the South then "Coke" for any type of soft drink. So if you order a Coke you will usually then be asked "what kind". xD

I should be so lucky:p Happy farming to you and your buddies!

TCRooster, the English don't use the word "English" for the spin used on a cue ball! (But we do.) :p (They have a term for it but I don't remember it.)

Yuck-sus, what is it you are "teasing" us with? You can't seriously be eating it, can you?
I've had Jello before but always in a Trifle or something like it. This one is seriously grotesque.
Thanks for sharing it with us xD xD

farmlilly - thanks for your kind words :inlove:
There are some amazing people playing this game and I've been fortunate to "meet" quite a few of them over the years I've been here. They, together with newer "faces" like yourself, makes this game what it is.

Best of luck everyone with the Event!

I was shocked when I open the 1st thread that appealed to me since it was started by my dear friend Hatzeva to see my name as a best in the US. Thank you! Especially, since I am was listed with another dear friend SuzeeRabbit. I miss here too.

    My top 5 songs are

My Sweet Lord - George Harrison - UK

Free Bird - Lynard Skymard - US
Inagadadaveda - Iron Butterfly US (I Think)
Roll over Beethoven - Chuck Berry - US, Beatles - UK, Electric Light Orchestra - Europe

I also agree that Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash are great.

O' yeah, O'yeaho_O....I don't know what I did to deserve such high praise from our fabulous sglick....but heck I'll take it!:music: LOLxD
Thank you so much...(blush, blush)...and you know I feel the same about you!:inlove: I agree JJenks, we sure do miss our spitfire sglick!!!

This is kinda broad...but what I love most about the U.S. is it's diversity in all things...people, places, food etc. I especially adore California!:D I am so fortunate to have Yosemite in my backyard, gorgeous lakes(Tahoe, Huntington, Shaver). I'm only 2 hours from the beach or San Francisco! My best friend lives in Palm Springs, so I visit the desert a couple times a year.
I also love Colorado, Louisiana, Utah, New York(not just the city, but upstate is beautiful!) Chicago is amazing too!!;)
I appreciate that there are still wide open spaces...uninhabited by anyone except wildlife. I'm a country girl( a hem..yes an old one) at heart...so I love the peace & quiet of the wilderness!:)
