The best way to complete timed FSQs?

Do items from all fields count for timed FSQs, or do only the crops, animals, etc produced on the main farm count? Are there better ways to complete them? Sorry if this is answered elsewhere, but I have looked everywhere and can not find an answer. I am fairly new and still learning, so any help is very much appreciated. Thank you.

 

All fields count in timed events. When doing the animal timed quests like Noah's ark, many of us have found this works:
Have half the number of stables for the animals required
Once they are ready to harvest start the quest
Harvest
Then allow the stables to run again and harvest.

 

TC's suggestion for the animal quests is the most effective. Don't worry about having all those pens think of them as a long term investment you will use them all in the course of this game. Just don't bankrupt yourself trying to do to much to soon.

For the timed crop FSQ's I did them by growing the longest crops first. Once they were ready to harvest then I would start the timer and then plant the shorter timed crops. The most important part is to remember to start the timer before you harvest. Also if you're using limited space make sure you know exactly how many crops you're going to produce each harvest. Remember you can also cancel the timer if you are not going to make it and start over and try again.

I was wandering how to do the animal ones too, but I'm having a hard time maintaining a decent amount of money. I'm selling animal feed, but it's hard to keep up with all the expenses as I try to earn more stars and the requirements of higher levels
