What time does the event start?

How difficult it is to move cake tiles? There are times, when they do not move at all and when I come back to my farm from mini-game, I have red move arrow on top of my screen. Refreshing the page finally make it disappear and I can continue and go to place next tile. Another strange thing in game is green plus signs, even I am out of tiles. When I press +-sign, it looks like I am getting cakes, but in the end I have an empty place without any signs at all. Hopefully I get +-signs back, when I mill more cakes. Better log out and remove all cookies and cache once again.

 

I love this type of mini-game! Requirements are realistic, and rewards are nice, and while the fuss at the beginning of the event was annoying, the compensation package makes up for it nicely, and was given in a timely fashion, so that is appreciated. The graphics are outstanding, and the cakes are making me hungry!!! edit after completion: I did feel that the tiles were harder to place than in similar events. I liked that there was generally less "stuff" scattered about, but the actual mechanic of clicking on the tile and moving it seemed harder in this one, not sure why...

 

Compensation package?

I did not receive as far as I am aware ...

I had lots of trouble logging in yesterday when the event started but it was fixed after about an hour.

Normally compensations are automatic, or so I thought?

 

Can’t get the mini game to work the tiles will not go into place I’m on an IPad

 

Choose the tile you want to place. Click on one of the two halves. Click and drag the half you selected to the square you want to place it. Click once more to lock that half of the tile into place. Now you need to decide which adjacent square you want the other half of the tile to be in. Put the cursor over that one and click once more. If you have a zoom in function you may want to use that before you start clicking.

This was a fun event. I did have a hard time placing the cakes down though. It was hard to see which squares were actually blocked. Or how far I can place my cakes.

 

Hmmmm, not really sure how I feel about this event. Some of it was fun but like many others I found the cakes hard to place even after I'd figured out you need to match at least one half to another. I do think you should have been able to swap more cake boxes than we could, at least double would have been helpful. I had also finished the event and thankfully had already gotten the cloud row when I'd only placed one box and I didn't like my next selection so swapped them out but then the next lot were all greyed out and couldn't use any but couldn't swap them either and the game won't even let me finish this round so now I'm left with 8 unused boxes, not all that happy about that either. I know I still might not have gotten much for what I had left but still would have liked to try to place them. Sorry

PS: I know this is partially my fault but I ran out of time to finish the event properly on my other two farms, 2nd farm got cloud row but still had about 80 cakes left and third farm didn't even get cloud row. But this was also because I have RL things to do and kept getting frustrated at trying to place the cakes so kept thinking I would come back to those when time allowed. So cake placing left until about 4hrs before the event ended which really should have been enough time for my three farms but not so. Oh well, it's just a game
