FAQs are out, seems pretty straightforward. :) Another grow and throw event, with 2 big pluses; no milling, and we get to use all 6 fields (3 mainland, 3 Baha) :D. After a quick, and I do mean quick, figuring, I came up with the following needs to complete the event:

    22,200 canvas grasses
    2030 paddles

Remember to put out your longest growing crops for a good drop start. This event is labeled as easy, but I never believe it until I see it ;).

I totally agree Spots, not too difficult for me to work out what to do and when - still room for me to mess up but no change there! I concur with your figures - equally quickly added up! No milling and lots of choice of fields. As always, I'm in! xD

Thanks spotsbox. With only 5 full days to do this we need 406 drops per day! Yikes.

Thank you Spot for starting the thread.

I've been thinking, never a good sign.
5 hour crop, so I should be able to squeeze in 3 harvests. I have some trees here and there, so let's assume each field 150 1x1. Cac will be used. Blueberries at night, forgot why I want blueberries, but they are 10h and I needed them for something (artisan village ??). Have all 6 fields wide open

    So
    6 fields x 150 plots = 900.
    Every harvest 900 x 4(cac) - 900 for resowing = 2700 per harvest.
    3 harvests per day = 8100
22200 in total / 8100 daily income = 2.74 days - that's 3 days with my idle time. (+ one day to build up)

But if I drop two fields:
    4 fields x 150 plots = 600 plots
Giving every harvest with cac 1800 (after replanting)
With 3 harvest per day= 5400 every day
I then need 4.11 days + 1 day to build up, to plant it all.

Oh what to do - what to do...Don't want to pull down pens Will be tight with only 4 fields.

*taps paw at head* Think, think , think

Thank you Sports for figuring out the figures.
Seems easy enough with 6 fields crops should not be an issue......he says:p
But as pointed out it all depends on the DROPS yet again:mad::mad: but we will see hopefully for BPs sake feedback is not dominated by the drop rate

Just to be mischevious from the 2nd according to preview calendar we have a MM event going on at same I know someone, namely me, who will get events mixed up:oops:

My crystal falls is lacking to be fully opened by 2 spots.. I now have pens there... gonna put trees back on the empty spaces soon. Normally it is never used for events... so i been useing it for trees, now pens and workshops. But thats ok.. I will still make it..(maybe) its not the event crops i am super worried about...lol

My farm will stay as is, as i have alot of opened fields.. minus Baha - rain forest atm... but will change after this message and my pens are done. If i should need crystal falls then i will work that out 2 days into event... as I am hoping it will help with drops.

Not gonna do any math this time as I strongly feel by my eyes I see we need alot of crops.... So best thing we all can do (after me seeing Moraine post) is have alot of plots opened.. Unless you use suzy super grow, super grow , or and plant more then 3 times a day. Roughly 600 plots will be needed without the aid of any super grow and a 3 times a day harvest on event crops...Dont forget to plant long term crops at night for drops.. <i am good about this...i forget alot...lol

Thank you spotsbox for starting the thread. ;)

Thank you Moraine for your math. ;)

illy1996 don't say mess up.... i will do it too.. don't you know its a chain reaction when one messes up someone else does too..xD
farmerumf I liked you till i saw what drops we needed per day... thanks alot....xD I forgive you since its not your fault... you just did the math... xDxD nah i would've or someone else would've... wow that's alot of drops per day.. really thank you for doing the math;).

phoenixboy12 no but you sure can bet i will forget to do something..never fails...:) After seeing last event.... I think we all need to do the drop dance sooner then later... BP good on drops... umm when?....lolxDxDxD

The fact that we can use all 6 lands and that the drops fall from everything on all 6 lands makes it sound pretty easy...of course the drop rate is the bugaboo...With this last event, I was waiting for drops yesterday afternoon to make my final pansy pot...finished that one by the skin of my teeth.

I was able to open up the last area of Crystal Falls recently...but I used up almost all my GBs getting to Plumeria Trees... And I also added two more trophies to the wisdom tree thing, so that should help with drop rates. I hope. Not gonna hold my breath.

Oh dear seems most of us are very cynical in relation to drops. Just our luck that we have too many and end up with egg on facexD

Thanks Spots for starting the thread. :) I'm not super interested in this one. Seems straightforward enough but the rewards are average, not bad just average. I'm thinking this is a good time to do my own farming. I need to grow huge amounts of a couple of plants to work on refinements with anyway. Good to take a break from the endless event cycle while I can so I don't burn out on it.

    Good luck to all playing!

Usually the amount of drops for a 5 hour crop on a full 1x1 field is 15-20 (LL at max, no howies), with about 5.5 fields available we should recieve approx. 100 drops per event crop harvest. Three harvests a day makes about 300 drops/day. That's 100 short of the daily requirement.

Given the complaints and tough drop requirement, we *might* see a higher drop rate as usual. Somehow I do not take this for granted and thus will prepare as I always do, with as many long timed crops on as many 1x1 plots. It should give about 400-450 drops on the initial harvest (main + baha)

If the initial drop rate is significant higher I will just go ahead with the event crop on all fields.
If it matches or is lower as expected I will go ahead with the event crop on about 4 fields and with long timed crops on 2 full fields. My experience is that doing it this way the drops come more in line with the event crop requirements.

I gave up on using trees for drops but will keep arbetorum, menageries and manufactories going.

Wishing lots of hapiness, love, good health and smiles to all who do participate and to all who don't!

I'm very reluctant to pull up all my trees and stables, so I'll be doing this one with the available crop space and leaving everything else in place... so I'm hoping it really is "easy"... and if memory serves, don't we get about 4 days of MM and a MM event starting the day after this one begins? Manure is going sky high for sure...

Like always, I complain about the quality of the prizes and the quantity of drops, but I end up doing all the events. xDWith this one it will not be different. Intend to use all the fields for the event plant in order to finish it as soon as possilbe and then run after the ever scarce drops.

    Good luck to us all!

I'm in....70 PF is very nice for my farms and with breeding events every month, event rewards are critical to supplementing my mill output. The cloud row offers CC and not just the standard EP/TEP. I will leave out my storage facilities and will plan on leaving Crystal Falls as it is. Will put out my longest crop which on the mainland is now longer than trees so puppy paws crossed for good drops.
