The CR is nothing spectacular or need to have on my farm. I will not be cutting down my forests for this event. I am getting ready for Harvest Hoedown (you can't start too early on this event with all the ridiculous overinflated prices on tree fruit). Plus I want to complete some of the higher level FSQs. But I will be rooting for all of you.

I am undecided at this point. I have the two FSQs left to finish opening up Crystal Falls. 70 PFs are appealing though. :inlove:
I burned my huge stash of PF up last month and haven't built up enough yet for this months upcoming breeding event.

CR I can take or leave. I will most likely do the event - because I usually do. :music:

I plopped every tree I had and covered two entire fields on my main farms last night. :p Curious to see the drop rate on those.

Trees rarely give me good drops, added to the fact you can only harvest most of them once a day unless you use tons of turbo mulch and are much better at making sure to harvest on time than I am. :p I leave my perimeter trees out, and most of magic glade is full of special trees, but otherwise I don't count on trees for drops. We used to have the occasional event that was tree specific or pen specific, but not in a long time.

I'm in on this one too, free PF is always appropriate, and mini me could really use the farm coins to get closer to opening one more section of Crystal Falls. Plus, I just have a really hard time saying no to events :wuerg:. I'm thinking I might follow habala's lead and do 4 fields of event crops and 2 of long term crops, I'm really low on spelt and rye, so that plan would do double duty for me. Have fun everyone, good luck on drops, and remember after reset here in 30 minutes to hold on to daily gifts until the event starts!:D

Thanks Spotsbox for this Thread. I will be doing this Event as I have all Six Fields available. I know some of you not have all 6 fields unlocked yet. But will list number of 1X1 Fields at our Disposal ;)
    • Baha [188 x [1x1]]
    • Rainforest [188 x [1x1]]
    • Crystal Falls [156 x [1x1]]
    • Mainfield [202 x [1x1]]
    • Meadow [202 x [1x1]]
    • Glade [184 x [1x1]
Firstly i need to built up stock of Canvas Grass of 1120, some of it will be nuked ;) Canvas Grass can be reaped every 4 Hours using Water only. theoretically speaking it can be reap 6 times every 24 Hours, which gives us 3360 Canvas Grass every harvest using all 6 Fields combined with CAC

Any +1, 100% Harvest or 200% Harvest won Farmerama Wheel it bonus to reap requirement of Canvas Grass sooner. We can do 6.6 Full Harvest of Event Crops using all six Fields giving us 22000 Canvas Grass. This is one Strategy Tactic.

I think i will Allocate Baha,Rainforest and Crystal Falls to Canvas Grass, so i can use other three Fields to Grow Crops that are needed for Quests, Plus gain as many Paddles as i can. Might be doing some refinements sell Crops for CC, Gain good drops at the same time :p Or Stock up crops to work on other refinements ;)

Let find out what the drops will be like fingers cross ;) Good luck to those doing this event, also hope those working on Quests or Farm stock up to have fun too ;)

I think I will be doing this event but I will be keeping my butterfly stalls out and trees on the outter edges :) see how far I can make it I would like to get the CR cause its always nice to get a CR that gives CCs along with EP/TEP :) good luck to everyone who is going to go for it may the drops be with us :);):inlove:

I'm in, on both farms. The prizes we'll gain along the way are decent, and any CR that gives a chunk of CCs instead of a crate is more than OK in my book ;) . Can't pass up 900,000CC a month going into my CC purse 8)

That's a high drop requirement tho:sleepy:, time to do the drop dance so they rain down on our farms...:music:

I'll be sitting this one out (neighbours takes note). I'm getting a little burned out on the back to back and overlapping events. I need to restock and work on some quests and be in a better frame for the next one maybe.. I'll do MM as it doesn't affect my other fields. Good luck to those going for this one.

Seldom close to your initial drops, and this time I landed on 324 paddles, which I thought was good before I read this thread :D But as said, I've kept some trees and stables out. Removed some after initial harvest. Think this will be an okay event. I've landed on a compromise so I'm 4,5 fields is dedicated.

@Moraine That's not too bad for a start! The estimated 400-450 inital drop is based on using all 6 fields with long timed crops on 1x1.

I got just under 300 drops on my initial harvest but I didn't use the Crystal Falls field (filled with givers) and had only 17hr long timed crops out. All in all I recieved the drops at the usual rate, as expected. So, I'll stick to my plan and will use 2 fields for long(er) timed crops (at least 9hrs with water and manure) permantly and 4 fields for the event crop with water during daytime once I've cleared the givers from Crystal Falls.

The Happy Drop Hunt has started :)

Total so far I got 250 drops... I got some trees in rain forest not ready yet...like maybe 80 trees.. everything else is pretty much gotten... so I am already not liking the drop rate. It has just started so time will tell.. Carnations gave roughly 50 per field..

Initial harvest 295 here, had some trees and pens on two fields.
I do like the suggestion of long crops on 2 fields, throughout the event. There are a lot of FSQs needing long crops. Great opportunity to work FSQs and drops and Event! Good luck everyone and Happy Farming! :)

I just put out all my diff timed trees in crystal falls and I really don't want to tear them out so I'm going with 5 fields. I'm really hoping I can win some of those +1 harvests from the wheel:DI'm still in a fog this morning and can't seem to get what's in my head into this post:wuerg:xD Looks like it might be one of those days where my brain doesn't function to well (know what I mean!!xDxD) Good luck everyone

258 drops on this farm, 276 on the one. Gonna be a slog...again.

My first harvest gave me 303 drops: two fields of Melons, two fields of Four Leaf Clovers, Crystal Falls and the Glade full of the usual stuff. I'm quite happy with that but I think I will concentrate on getting the drops and worry about the crops when I am confident I will get enough Paddles. :music:

So my strategy is to grow four fields of event crops twice a day, Melons and Four Leaf Clovers overnight. :D

Good luck and, all together, pull those paddles! xD

Right with you illy - will be paddling like mad!xD

303 drops from rose hips, melons, and various and sundry trees around my perimeters. :) Just getting going on my crops, but don't expect any major snafus that way. Was a bit annoyed when one field of rose hips only gave 42 drops -.-, but such is the game. There's always the safety option of instant carnations if I absolutely get in a panic. ;) *checks safety vest for moth holes and mouse chews*

Day one only landed 214 paddles. A little more than half of what is needed. I was only able to harvest at lunch and this evening. Stripped the trees - since they didn't produce as many paddles as hoped. I did harvest them this morning before event - so I could have had more.
Lets see how this goes. I guess I am in. Need to get some butterflys out though.

CAC is high in my market.

spotsbox - How are you getting instant carnations? ( I get about 50 drops on a field with carnations) I have several refinements and get down to just under 13 hours with just water. (My manure is low at the moment)

I've opted to leave my menageries in on both main and baha. They are helping tremendously with drops. I often get 8 paddles per menagerie :music:.....plus they are great little manure factories!:pI have pulled all trees except for my 4 arboretums. So I think this time I'm going to go with long time crops for overnight. Normally I plant event crop b/c I'm so impatient and want to get crop out of the way....but doing well with drops and want to continue to do so(lesson learned from last event). I have 586 paddles so far! :D Thanks to my fabulous neighbors and friends!!!:inlove:

Continued good luck/drops for all playing Swirl Event!!!;)

You have to have certain carnation refinements and the chestnut cloud row to be able to do instant carnations. Chestnut CR is from several years ago, the givers are very sought after every G&T. The CR gives 5% better results from super grow, so when you use it with fruitcake, white innocence, water, poo, and SG, plus the refinements, you can plant a field of carnations in comfort fields and they will be ready instantly. The carnation refinements you want for this are Instant Bloomer, SG Love and Green Love. You can still do quick carnations without the CR, using all the mentioned buffs and the refinements, which will give you carnations in comfort fields ready to harvest in a couple hours. I can't remember exactly how long, but I think it's under 3 hours. What makes it worthwhile is a guaranteed drop from each CF, so a field of 41 comfort fields will yield 41 drops. :)
