The client blocks the screensaver

According to my laptop settings, when it goes idle for some minutes and the user does nothing, the screen is supposed to be locked and require the password to sign in again.

But somehow the Farmerama client blocks this. If the client is open somewhere in the background, the screen locks normally. But if the client is the program on top, the very last thing that I clicked before going idle, then the screen saver and the screen locking just doesn't work. The client can be on top of a live screen overnight, or for longer.

Why does the client block Windows from locking up? and can you make it stop?

 

It does the same on my desktop, with Windows 11 its annoying. Don't remember if it did the same with Windows 10.
Would not mind if they fixed it.

I have no further questions but I hope the game team can fix it ASAP because it leaves people who leave their computer somewhere that other people can have access vulnerable to hacking and data security isdues

 

Until we know more about the issue, the workaround is what you've already discovered. You can put the client in the background so it doesn't block the screensaver or you can log out if you are going to be away from the computer and concerned about other people accessing your information.
