Unlike others, I've found the drop rate to be fine. I'm on track to get enough drops to complete all 100 mini-games (although I won't be doing so due to crop limitations). I have a lot of stables and workshops out, and a lot of deco items on baha that I'm not getting drops from, but still seem to be going fine for drops.

That's just it, Squiggle, the more space given to event crops, the lower rate of drop cos it is only a 5 hour crop. I think the rate changed halfway through - it's happened before. It starts fine and then all of a sudden, it drops. Maybe it is supposed to give us a little tension to make the game more exciting! :wuerg:

I also find that when I am not too bothered about the event/drop rate, I have no problem! :D

Ah, that is a good point. You may be right. And that's always the way!

Oh, not sure if I'm right Squiggle - just how it appears to me sometimes lol! Like you, I've been playing almost since the start - March 2010 and still loving it! :inlove:

Come on BP, someone press the drop increase button! ;)

I agree. There's still so much to do! They're lucky I love this game regardless, though...not sure their customer service is exactly up to standard!

I'm enjoying this event! I like the puzzle games because I get to use my brain instead of just mindlessly giving crops for rewards. That said, I am finding, like others, that the requirements are high and the drop rates are low. I have lots of magnifying glasses, but so few soot in my inventory. If only we could trade them for the soot!

"What happened to the drops? They were keeping pace nicely, making things really fun for a change, instead of a struggle -and then they just fell off. Why?"matselleste.

I thought I was imaging things. You make a very good point.

I did appreciate that the event allowed for some winnings from low level farmers also. Makes the game a challenge and a bit of fun and experience too. Still learning the ropes and tricks of the trade.
    Good luck to all!

Firstly the praise BP;) Ive enjoyed the mini game, hopefully we can have this in the future but not as refined and stingy as you have made the Queen.

Now what has happened to the drops, you are taking me to the very limit of event time frame...come on BP for the remaining time boost the drops or extend the event. PLEASE

I have loved this event! BEST mini game ever! Enough time was given to make the event enjoyable, not stressful.

wow... 700 flowers each mill? 5 hrs to grow them.. not everyone can sit here 12 hrs a day and play . Home Sweet Home was just too steep for me to play ( I tried it). I do enjoy the search for the clues tho!! There is no way I can finish this event but I'll play til its over.

It was tough but I really did enjoy it once I realised that it was going to be possible and that the points were achievable. As said before, it gave me a real challenge. I think it would be better to halve the requirements and make the event shorter. Two weeks planting the same crop got very tedious after a while. I did enjoy the mini games, though, but it just took so long to make each Detective Tool. -.-

I would love to see more events like this one but I do think the drop rate has got to be increased if we need to plant the event crop overnight. I managed to keep up with crops versus crops but there are many others who don't have Living Legend and or Howie Donuts so they struggled to get the drops needed to finish. Let's hope they all get to their targets. :)

I loved this event! It is now my second fave type. My fave is the Maze where we rotated the tile to make a path. Third is dear sweet Ingrid. Fourth is Monkey Queen.

This is dramatically better than fishing and soccer... boring.

I'm OK with the time frame since it had a long holiday weekend in the middle of it. But multiple events at once is taxing.

Now I am very curious about the mini-games you all loved. I am sure it was a relief from the other hard work you were all doing.
Congratulations to you all. I was quite happy to reach my goals too.

One thing I did do to start was grow and grow until I had enough to get the cloud row in one swoop then continue to see how far it took me. But, It took around 25 games to settle in and recognize/remember the objects. After that I did 71's and fewer than 5 80's. It took dilligence to keep the crops going I destroyed my supergrow and suzys stock. Over the two weeks It gave us time to calculate our plan; pens did the best drops for me (early on they were great-then fell off) I had to keep all pens in Baha to keep manure and drops going and it was tight for a bit. Not bad of an event; the prizes were great for me. I never scrutinize all the awards available before I start so it was surprises along the way. Something like 34 million in EP. I set out the stables I had won...surprise! I got another Pony and a Guinea Pig. I finished a day early and happy to get 98 BB's.

I didn't quite make it to the finish, but was able to get the CR and my ultimate goal, which was the pony stable :inlove:. My inability to finish wasn't a reflection of the event, rather too much going on in RL to be able to harvest as faithfully as I would have liked. I enjoyed this event, much better than the maze/tile one, and especially loved the prizes, which were pretty awesome. I had no trouble with the drops on my main farm, but then I have the LLR maxed and the Howie rune activated also, so they kept me pretty well stocked. Loved that we got drops from Baha as well, wouldn't have been able to do it without that. I too demolished my SG reserves, but was worth is to me to reach my goal. Would have loved to get the BBs, but c'est la vie, maybe next time. Certainly had fun getting as far as I could. :D

The mini game was good fun but the event just felt too much like hard work when the drops of soot reduced. With just a few hours to spare, I did complete both progress bars but I had to use over 1k of my stash of power feed on the last baby boom day to get enough soot to finish - which did make me wince. I would say that, because of this, it seems unfair that players who have recently joined may not have been able to finish this event.
