thank you Browndoggies, Ive only got 10 fingers and thumbs so had trouble counting up requirements. You are star for adding them up for us.

I know others will disagree but to me another barn clearer continuing on from animal barn clearer last week. How long is it going to take a middle level player to restock if they intend to do event.

Good luck to those who are doing event,

Im still undecided even though Ive got plenty to complete event is it worth my time and effort after building up my barn

We do not need to do all and every step as the FAQ states we can continue with connecting tiles, which I take as up/down and left/right.

Here is my route to the CR and its givers. There are other routes possible but this one seems the most attractive to me.

    Major Update:

My routes below might not be 100% accurate as it seems there are a few obstacles and other navigation tricks along the way I didn't expect. Sorry for any inconvenience! Pity it's not being this easy. It is a Mystery detective afterall :)

I'll try to figure out the correct paths later on today and post a new message when done.

I consider most of the Cheese Wheels as optional and thus marked those and requirements with a *
Just over 10k of the Event Plant is needed, main concern are the drops: 3500 Soot and 1100 Magnifying Glasses are needed. That's a lot!

Depending on which other prizes I like to pick up I might open additional steps.

Preparation = only 1x1 plots filled with longest timed crops.
During event = nuke Powder Puffs on 4x4 plots, get enough to fill 3 fields with 1x1s, gather just over 10k. Use 2 fields with 1x1 plots for long timed crops. Hopefully this will do the trick for decent drops.

    Good luck everyone!

Thanks browndoggies, annaquinn and habalala. The FAQ update made the CR more appealing. It added 300 EP x farm level. :p
Best of luck to all, may the drops be with us! I am going to stick close to habalalas strategy! :music:

Thank you Browndoggie for starting the thread and doing the totals. I'm a bit hmm, but ofc I'm in. I love cheese, and a good mystery. I haven't prepped farm, so I'll be winging it. Have a lot of stables out, so will replace them as the day passes and go for the crop. Think I'll go for Habalala's strategy, at least that is the idea today.

Good luck all of us, event or no event. Can never go wrong with good luck. :D

Thanks to all for the number crunching! I'm looking at following habalala's plan and going just for the CR. I'm not sure about the whole cheese timer things will be worth it. I guess it depends on how many drops I get along the way. I've been lucky to hit the harvest bonus on the farm wheel several times recently so I'm well stocked for this.

Good luck to all who go for it. :)

Those Cheese Wheels only require a little extra Powder Puffs, both #1 (rewards extra EP every 6 hours) and #2 (rewards 5 PF every 12 hours) are very easy to obtain early into the event. I think those are definately worth getting.

The event runs for 5 days, drop totals needed for CR:
3500 Soot = 700 per day (about 30 per hour!)
1100 Magnifying Glasses = 220 per day (about 10 per hour!)

Wishing all of us are able to get it without spending a single BB or dime.

I hope everyone has plenty of goat milk because the price was already sky high in the markets...with this event, astronomical will be the only appropriate adjective.

I will be doing this event. As they just improved the rewards on Cloud Row. This event is set for Medium, I have an inkling it will be bit on hard side, it is not the amount of Magnifying Glass total of 1100 of them, It is getting 3500 soot, that is very high number as we need to allow some lost idle time on our farms.

As we need to Maintain a good drop rate of both drops. Growing the required Power Puff plant for this event should not be a problem if you happy to use all 5 Fields for them. There is two Strategies either focus reaping as many Power Puff plants asap, so grow these using only two or three fields. The other two fields to get maximum amount of drops you can as we cannot give Magnifying Glass to our buddies during this event.
I have prepare my farm for this event. Plus well stock of Animals, Crops, Products. ;) as for me hoarding my crops does pay off from time to time.

I would suggest to build up stock of Power Puff plants using nuking tactic on Baha, since no Baha Stuff is needed for this event, such as crops, animals etc !!;)

Thanks everyone on the awesome number crunching. RL distracted me and I missed this one coming up! I am in.
I am way short on violets and trying to get some in before I plant the ever amazing carnations.
Going to try to keep all those stables and trees I have out on my one half fields and use try to baha for the event crop. I hope that helps with the drops. I may keep planting carnations on the half field. Lets see if the strategy works!

Good Luck everyone! Saving gifts for event start. Possible snow delay - so I may be able to gift at beginning of event! Yeah!

I'm a crop hoarder, so no problem for that part. The pf opportunity is appealing, as are some other items I would like, so I'm doing the event. Thanks to the number cruncher wizards and best of luck to all participating!:)

I mostly hoard anything, mostly crops. I make good cc from Crops most of the time. As it helps to indulge into the markets with cc you can spare, As our farm not got the space or time to grow everything needed for events, FSG's,producing products. So stocking up stuff from the markets does help, especially to re stock barn stocks or either to buy market stuff to donate to FSG's or even to make CC Profits by reselling stuff. ;)

As there are some market players still around such as me ?? not see Broke posting here like before. With many market stuff going up faster than Farmerama Inflation Rate. Nothing is cheap anymore, that why i try to keep making CC no matter what as it helps to have good barn stock. :p

This event is asking for fair amount of barn stocks. I cannot imagine what going through you mind, wishing to take part in events, having to decline due to lack of Barn stocks. As we have to adjust to our style of game play, to ensure our upmost best not to miss out the fun in events. This cheese event sounds like lots of fun. I have empathy on my buddies who have more than one farm, who struggle to restock multi farms. God knows how hard that can be. :wuerg:

Those of you not doing this event. Even if you are restocking your Barn, You will be gaining Drops of Soot and Magnifying Glass. No matter what you reap on your farms. It would make bit of sense just to do part of this event at least.:)

We have farm wheel spins and party spins. I would grab a chance to win +1 or 100% Harvest, when you have the chance to win it on Farmerama wheel. As you can always win back some party spins as you can gain 8 party spins plus +1 party spin from Post Office every 12 Hours, this can be reaped sooner by donations of Power Puff Crops.;)

Using all 5 1x1 fields using CAC can reap 2880 Power Puffs per harvest, if you lucky enough to win +1 then add 960 on top of that comes to 3840 event crops we can harvest x 4 per day providing we use water on these crops. :D

Without doubt manure prices will go sky high very quickly. I just use manure for nuking so i can make a good head start. Then is just water until this event ends !!;) we have to keep our fingers cross to see how the drops treats us during this event, Hope farmerama will be generous to us :p

I was just looking over the FAQ's again and I come up with 2,000 cranberries instead of 1,000 and also 1,000 Gooseberries which I didn't see listed in the first posting. I could very well be wrong:p:p Everything else looked good!! Thanks for the number crunching:D:D I am pleased with my initial harvest of drops but I plan on keeping 1 field for longer crops just to be safe:music:
