The Great Cheese Mystery event strategy

I have tried doing the refinements and I personally get too frustrated with it as I never get any good results. Someday I will challenge it again As far as the PF goes, I'm planning on using mt leftover event crop to snag PF to replace what I used. Guess it all depends on how you want to go about achieving your own final goal Mooboy, I just calculated that it would take 20,000 event crops to get that many PF's That is truly ambitious

 

I have witness many farmers get confused with refinements. It takes a while to master it, but need luck to as at times it very hard to get the refinements you are seeking. But once you get those sought after refinements it works a treat combined with Buffs as it does take fair amount of assertiveness and effort, some luck too.

I have been growing event crops like crazy, so far got 26,000 Power Puffs using 5 Fields will do one more full round, the i will use Magical Glade to do some Nuking to get last remaining MG Drops to mill the last of the needed Detective Tools.
Yup it is truly ambitious Yup it is my FOCD it come back to me

 

I only need to make two more tools after this mornings harvest and for those I need soot. I will make it but it will be cutting it close. I'm growing more puffs now in order to get some PF back from the breeding I did. I was able to put out my new red ostrich egg farms this morning though so I don't regret that breeding at all.

In the meantime I got a rhino, giraffe, 3 hippos, axolotl, crocodile and some orange stables. I only bought 5 of the new stables and then put out the ones from the event so I think I got amazing results from that.

 

Milling the last Det. tools. That Comfort Field strategy did the trick, 5 field 210 Mag. Glasses!

I also did some breeding for FSQs, now I am going to do some extra Nibbling for PF.

 

I have stopped milling the detective tools. I am at 56 after doing a ridiculous amount of baby boom breeding with rather disappointing results. I was waiting to get CR & items until I hit 100 to avoid getting caught short, but since that is not going to happen I've changed my strategy. I'm going to start nibbling on the PF cheese wheel after every harvest [I have all fields going] to try to replace at least a portion of the huge pile I've squandered on this event. I cleaned out all the other squares in the city and buildings. Took another look at CR rewards in FAQ - what in the world was I doing even TRYING to get the CR?? That CR is pretty lackluster. At least I can look forward to the coins and EP coming for the tools already milled. Wish I'd never milled a single one .... just think of all the power feed I could've had!!

I am milling away my last batch of Detective tools....Phew.....

I have gain 140 Party Spins with my hard earned Power Puffs. These will be handy for new party spin prizes to win. So my strategy worked great. As really like this event.

I'm finished here on pnp.

I have 3 detective tools to go on BillyWhiskers and 4 on my 3rd farm. I have planted long crops for overnight and will have to finish the final tools with early morning harvest. I hate cutting it so close but I used 264 PF on all farms to get the magnifying glasses and could not do any more. I welcome a challenge but closely watching, counting and worrying about drops makes me ready for this event to end.

All my farms had everything in stock to donate so this should have been a typical 'grow and throw' event for my farms. With so many different barn items required, I never thought the drop rate would be an issue. I was most definitely wrong.

 

get 91 MG will finished. And I had main land with around 65 CF of leeks ready to harvest in 1.5 hr.
Hope it will give me good drops. I had breed some in BBD, then change to Mooboy’s strategy
to used CF field yesterday.
As a long time palyer, I really had a long time not struggle in drops.....
Just as my fan said: How can BP change > not to take money from player??
give us so many good stuff only ask players just to plant the event crop continuous!

Well, I never be a palyer buy drops..and I also don’t buy SG, SSG on mini event day.
But I still fall on the trap>> use PF in BBD, surprise that BP don’t held a PF saving day as usually,
Ah.... it was their aim, give us too much PF as cheese wheel prize, so want to grab back the
PF you got from cheese weel!
I think BP is a bit short sight, Still had palyers resist to breed as they want to save the PF,If BP really
want to temp us, give more bait like not only BBD, had a Farm-Coin-A-Palooza-Day as well, thus will
give more motive for palyers to breed...Also, make your Mega EP day more successfully.

So far, except BP make one of the drops too harsh to let this event to be hard & costly.
It still consider to be a attractive event. Only with you could make up your mind earlier
1)I’m not FOCD player, I don’t mind skip the event or just get those good stuff is good enough
to me...
2) A FOCD player, want the CR running after event, then try your best, used SG or PF from your
stock to get the glasses.Beware had to spend RM like buy SG/BB to acheive!
3)I’m not FOCD palyers, I want the CR but discover BP’s trick very lately...spend too much effort(time, barn stuff, PF, SG) & feel bad that I cannot get the CR finished event...
Come on.. everything had a first time, to be accustomed with it. If you care too much, you will be a very welcome customer to BP

 

I need help with magnifying glasses.

 

Neddy, I have NEVER bought SG, ever. I have Super and Suzy Jumbo Trees, always out. As such, I have over 6,000 SG and 1,800 SSG, even after using SG a ton yesterday.

 

baw815, I never bought as well, I also had those jumbo tree out too!
But there always had players buy, otherwise, how could BP survive & pay
their bills like wages, rental
But get more revenues from usual customers as well as take some from those seldom spend
customers will always be welcome

 

I finished with the final few tools I needed. Still growing more puffs for more wheel prizes. I've managed to recoup 95 PF so far but I think I will take the rest in party spins once I harvest.

 

It's been a while since I've had this much trouble with drops.
The worst part is the long milling time.
This morning I decided to go for the guaranteed MG drops by breeding 10 times. When I harvested I realized it was only 1/11 of what I needed for one tool, instead of the tool. Multi-tasking doesn't work all that well for me. lol
I decided I wasn't going to waste any more PF. I've had to skip quite a few breeding events because of lack of PF.
So I opted to activate... hedgehog CR, fruit cake, white innocence and use my greenhouse refined crops on red roses for instant gratification. I used large plots instead of CFs. I netted roughly 1 drop out of 3 plots. Probably should have used CFs or carnations... But the last of the tools is in the mill now. I should be finished with the event in about 1.5 hours on all three farms. Next time maybe I'll use CFs & carnations & EOL/SOL...

I'm going to have about 8k event crops left over to use for more PF.

Finished & CR running to let me benieft my last 2round of event crop.
I don’t have too much event crop left as I use alot of time for getting drops
in long hr refined crops
But still two thousands for grab prize. Mainly focus on PF, since I had used some
on BBD, at least to get back what I used!
For those still aim for drops, make sure you could spare enough time to mill
as milling time is much if you don’t had the mill subscription.
If time is look a bit too tight. Make descision before you got nothing or fail your aim.
1)get the CR is a must, don’t hesitate, claim the CR at once, the giver will got either
from G&T or.... BP sure will give you a chance to buy back as in history.
2)No CR motive, want giver, exchange it before event end. make up descision ASAP
your choices, which one got more benieft in future>>to exchange or EP gain.
of couse, if you had 80tools, you can got all 4 giver and no more thinking need.
3)CR or giver is not a consider, nothing to say : keep up grow... yes!
Grow! Grow! Grow! grow as much as event crop as possible to grab prize...
I don’t think there will be next opportunity BP will offer such good chances to player
to use so little effort to get great prize: 200 6 hr crop for 5 PF/10SG/5SSG/1 party spin
and you can grow on 5 lands

Eventually got the Cloud Row + Givers. It was pretty tough to get it as i like a good challenge now and then as dont we all like to get CR so easy, not this time eh !!

I stuck to my guns did some Nuking of refined artichokes for a change. Instead of Breeding. I consume 260 SG, which i can recoup from Bundle of Party Spins agained Now waiting to reap my last harvest of Power Puffs.

I have no need to buy SG, SSG etc due to healthy stock of them in my hard earned Barn, Earned by previous events and Quests. I have managed to do events without the need to spend RL Monies i use Harvest Vouchers that i either won or earned from events and quests, that why i love doing them. I find it impossible to not do an event, be grateful of prospects of lovely handy useful prizes.

From time to time certain events does have a weakness, This is one of them, so it my payback to Bigpoint to lure us to spend RL Monies. Even the cost of 1 BB has risen due to Inflation or is it Brexit This time took advantage of the weakness gained lots of Party Spins The other event that had a weakness that can be benefited is the Carnival Queen event, from rumour it happening in February.
