Now those are definitely words of wisdom.

    "Because you can?"
    no I cannot

But what I can do is sit on the outside, sip ona cold red punch and cheer you on.

Thank you so very much for assisting me Moraine.

None of my farms are doing this event. I'm going to be doing barn boosting not barn draining.

Good luck to all of you who are doing the event.

I won't do the event because I won't be able to log in to my farm often these days or maybe at all..
But I want to make some CCs so farmer_broke, any ideas for what to sell?

I am going to do this event, As it been a while since we had a Baha Event. My top priority is to get 11 curtain upgrades with Anti do medal Machine which I will place in Pet Playing Field.:p

I know this event is asking a lot to complete the daily timed quest. But not all of the steps is neededto be completed as some of the stebe skipped skipped as some of step rewards are not worth it. so this way does not drain your barn as much as if you are doing The harvest hoedown barn draining event. But the prizes from these quests is more rewarding compared to last year harvest hoedown:D

I am planning out a strategy to get 11 curtain upgrades as my top objective. I not mind to do back to back events. ;)

First harvest was a little disappointing - not in number but in the quantity required to complete all quests. May have to clear my Crystal Falls - just leave my Manufactories ... ... just making my own Crystal Falls here. :p

Have to check tomorrow - before I feed my critters! If I have less than about 500, I will have to re-think my strategy!

Drops from initial harvest a bit low compared to overall total required. Will need to reevaluate to see what will be left off in order to reach other desirable rewards.

Hi ! I was about to write that drops were plenty as I got 458 drops from my initial drops of 1x1 plots with sauguaro. But find that it has been different for you. Sorry to hear it. Why don't you try 1x1 plots of crops overnight for the drops.

With my first two "starter up" harvests, my total is now 298 ... will put out more plots on CF and switch to longer crops overnight. o_O
Plus I can finish the crops a little quicker - that's a lot of crops! :D

I got 217 drops from my overnight crops of Chayote (15 hours) and Bitter Ginger (14.5 hours)
It doesn't look like drops will be a problem.

3 is the level required to be able to participate in the event, it probably means nothing else than that the event is visible on the farm from that level. Certainly no one means or have said that the event will be "doable" if your farm level is 3. Since the order of unlocking statues in the temple is not fixed, it doesn't make sense to name a higher level as the minimum level required. If one did there would be players complaining about not being allowed to participate in the event. Even a player who has just opened bahamarama could benefit from the event. In the beginning you only have access to very short crops. So growing the event crop would help one level up faster in this situation. But this event is obviously aimed at farmers who have had time to stockpile the items needed. We don't get many of those events, so I am glad when they happen even if not everyone can realistically do all the quests. Some quests do however only require event crops and drops and can be done independently of the other quests. Anyway, I do wish you success :)

Pardon me for my post above regarding low drops. I had forgotten this event was longer than the standard event and therefore was basing my concern on an event that is half this one's time.

Dogs got me up at 4 AM so need more sleep or more caffeine before doing math and posting in the forum:p

I'm doing the event but not all the levels as I have some busy days in the mix of this longer event. Here is my plan, if this will help anyone with numbers. Basically I am skipping level 1 gold and diamond unless there is a strong need for something (like a tree I have very few) and sometimes on the 3 levels I am also skipping level 2 gold and diamond. I have all the "other" request items in large quantities so those donations will not affect me other than to lose them from my barn.

When I do events I prefer to do the whole event but since this event's difficulty rating is dependent on User choices I think I will take the warning and do as little as possible to get the upgrades.

Already short on drops for this one.

    Good luck to everyone.

Pups, I did the same. Forgot that the event is longer than most! Should have come here before nearly emptying my Crystal Falls (and deleting animals still active in some cases and forgetting to visit Pet's corner before harvesting due to my inability to wake up!). Oh well, I will get the crops ready for the other quests and then re-do all my fields! :wuerg:

    (taken from the local news)

What a fantastic day yesterday was out at broke islands located in broke ocean
Eclipse I was fully completed with no CAC or puckjam
With a mixture including many many 2x2's and a few 1x1's using only water and maybe 15 superjunks grow
Several very expensive animal stalls, broke calls poop pens for some reason, remained out as well as several rare trees

There were many things to see
The most interesting was the workshirt, obviously carefully stitched by the farmwife tlcmom
On the back of the workshirt in Big Bold Letters was:

    farmer_broke
    The Tropical Junker

What will today's Tropical Junker antics bring?
Arriving back on the mainland early this morning,
broke visited the local market and went to some overgrown beanstalk

What? The overgrown beanstalk? How exciting!
Days and days and days pass without broke climbing that overgrown beanstalk

When asked why he was climbing the overgrown beanstalk today, broke turned for reporters to see:

    farmer_broke
    The Tropical Junker

    and then said very quietly:

    the
    junk-CAC
    cloud roooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Stay tuned! There is no telling what Tropical Junker Antics will be displayed!
    -------------------------------
Good luck with whatever it is you are doing

  16. Habanero or Chayote vegedables seem to be good overnight plants for drops.
I planted last night Habanero with Tiki timer, healing ointment and water.
No need for manure since the price is rocketing to new peaks.
Harvest time went down to approximately 8.30h.
After a good nights sleep I collected the Habanero and 100% of the daily requirement of drops.
Anything I harvest during the day is going to be surplus.

I had no excuse like that, RowSie, I got up my normal time - 8.00ish - and brain just didn't kick in! -.-

  19. The best way for not making mistakes is doing nothing..
The day before the event I collected and re-fed a full field of animal pens.
Two minutes later I read the the FAQs and had to remove them all to place saguaro in small fields.
... and it wasn't that early, so no pre-coffee excuse either.

Just got 100% harvest for 24 hours - that should help a lot.
Did what I needed of Eclipse 2 - only Task 1 & 2 silvers and all task 3. Good luck everyone.
