What is 0.02 radiation?o_O (How do you count your radiation amount?)

In my country the lowest was 23C.-.-

    I'm back home everyone!!!

I went deep sea fishing, stayed at a Disney Resort, went to the beach
and went on my first ever air boat :)
(Need time to settle in, being home seems so different!)

It's a very small amount that would take years to cause harm.
You must use a radiation detector and one that can measure.

Now the current radiation here is near 0.1 (okay), but there was once when it reach 0.4 (fortunately something lower than japan):)

Please don't get shocked, it's normal here.

Solotime, did you have a good time at Disney Resort?

@penguilnz, Yeah it was pretty cool but I just wish we had warmer weather while at the resort.
It was overcast and around 60F to 70F while staying for three days.

    Hi solotime
Did you manage to hook a fish while on your trip ?
I know you wished for warmer weather but that temperature actually sounds good,
Today it snowed, enough to look pretty but won't cause any harm.. tomorrow they say temps will drop to 8 F... brrrr TG for the wood stove in the kitchen ...
    anyway welcome back..

Welcome back solo! Glad you had a good time! That does sound like nice weather to me....It is 22 right now and we will be in the single digits by tonight. Wolf, we also have a wood stove that keeps the house almost too warm (for me). Hubby, kids and pets all like it much warmer than I do.

Hey all! Hope you are doing well. Things in my RL have been a bit busy. Neither my brother nor I have had a smooth past 5 weeks.

I would like to apologize to any of my neighbors who see this. I have been horrible about gifts and returning IGM's. I barely remember to farm each day. I've found myself kicked out of the game a lot lately because I log in and then walk away to deal with something or run to help my brother and forget I started something. Sometimes I wish carrots weren't a 7 min crop as I leave them planted for 4-7 hours :po_O

Thank you for being patient with me!!!

On January 4th it was 84F outside so that day was very nice. But strangely it didn't feel like that, felt more like 75F at most.

I caught a lot different fish and even caught a small Atlantic shark.
My two biggest were three feet long and called King Mackerel.

I am happy you enjoyed your time in the resort! I searched the fish you caught and three feet(around 1 meter) is very long!

It usually is way to hot for me as well. I could never understand why the pups and kittens loved to lay right in front of it, almost underneath it..until this week !

Hi Pepsishot I hope things will settle a bit for you so you can get back to relaxing :)

That's great solotime, it's always more fun when you catch something, and it looks like you did very well. Glad you enjoyed yourself and are back refreshed.

Isn't that good news? For me it's good news because my temperature range is 75 F to 90 F and it stays like this for the whole year.

    Celsius to Fahrenheit: ( C x 1.8 ) + 32 = F
    Fahrenheit to Celsius: ( F - 32 ) / 1.8 = C

Thanks guys. Things are definitely moving in the right direction for my brother. It just turns out the dr's got this part right; long recovery road. It's going to take time. For all the progress there are still some very rocky parts to go through still. I'll take these days over where we were 2 years ago.

solo - I love visiting Disney. I've never stayed at one of their resorts though. I hope it was everything they claim it to be!!

Hi all! {{big hugs}} A very late "Happy New Year" to everyone!:music:;)

I recently sent out a neighbor update and reminder of the bonus code and thought I would swing by here as well with a lot of the same information. (A few friends mentioned missing me on the forum or being worried about me, so I thought it time to make an appearance!) {{blush}} So, sorry - I did not mean to make anyone worry! I am doing just fine, just not as much into the game at the moment... still playing but occasionally taking some time off from it.
    :p:D

But before I forget... don't miss out on the bonus code... it is a very nice one! Make sure you get it if you have not already as it expires tomorrow!! The official ending time is Friday, January 30th, at 23:59 CET (when gifts reset).

    The bonus code is: BIRDSEYESVIEW

It immediately gives +30% EP (for all fields) for 48 hours - again this starts as soon as you submit it!

    It also gives:
    50 x Suzy's Super Grow
    50 x Suzy's Turbo Mulch
    3 x Easter Marmelade
    3 x Zucchini apple cake
    3 x Spring Wreath

Like I said, it is a very nice bonus code! Make sure you use it! :D

So an update on me! Things have been busy here. I have been working double shifts some days as we are short of substitutes at my work. One of my co-workers was injured on the job (slipped on ice and got a nasty concussion) and has been off on medical leave for going on 3 weeks now, without improvement. In addition, the morning assistant (I work the afternoon shift) has needed to be with her family during some rough times as her daughter (upper 20's) was recently diagnosed with cancer. If it is on your heart, prayers for them and the right words for me would be appreciated. ♥

For those of you who do not know, my husband got his ministerial certification this past summer. We have decided that we will be moving this summer to southern Illinois to work with/under a pastoral couple there and to learn from them. I am looking forward to the move (for one, we will no longer be renting from/living with MIL!) ;D I however, will be forever grateful to her for opening her home to us. We have all benefited from it and the timing in so many ways was perfect.

As for the move, I believe God has plans for us where we are moving to. I believe the time spent in southern Illinois will help us strengthen the church there as well as help prepare hubby and I (and daughter) for what God is preparing for our future. As for beyond our time there, I look at that part of our lives as an open book with fresh pages… while there are ideas and thoughts to what that might entail, I want to leave the future open to God’s perfect leading and will. ♥

Oh golly! It looks like this will be a book lol! Hmm... what's new with that lol? :eek:xD;)

So, I have finished my Child Development Associate college classes! (Yay!!) I am still in process of obtaining my CDA certificate, which includes sending in my application and a big test. Also there is a verification visit at work, including a review of my portfolio (class work) by a specialist. I love working with kids but will admit that I have been procrastinating at wrapping up this last bit...
    :p

Let's see if I can't catch up a little bit on what is going on with those here...

    Prayers for you and your brother pepsi! We all know that family and the importance of taking time out to be with them when they need us! May God's grace rest upon you and may you have much wisdom during this time! I am certain you are not the first farmer to walk away while farming and come back to realize you had left something unfinished... :music: And, if that is the worst you do, I think you are doing just great! {{big hugs}}

@solo - Wow!! A 3 foot fish!!?? That makes some of the smaller trout I used to catch while growing up in Wyoming look like "bait" o_O I am glad you had a nice trip and that you enjoyed the warmer weather! :D

@pnp ~ my grandparents had a wood burning stove! I would visit them during the summers up in northern Wyoming mountains. They had a gas station there in which I earned commission selling fireworks and learned how to fish. Anyway, I remember the wood burning stove running sometimes during the summer!! I also, umm... remember it snowing on the first couple days of summer there too!! (Kinda rare but also kinda cool too!!)
    :eek::D

While I am here, I want to extend a warm welcome to *Ribanna*, penguilnz, and wolfeyesone!! Welcome to "the LP"! It's been kinda quiet here lately, but sometimes it can get pretty busy lol!

@Ribanna ~ inquiring minds want to know lol... who is your main farm?? Is it a secret? Are you going to share? :D Do we have to guess?? xD

@penguilnz- I know I have seen your posts before! I think perhaps when I have dashed online incognito to read the event strategy threads???

@wolfeyesone~ I know I have seen a thread you started! I never replied, but it started out with an Indian tale of two wolves ~ one white and one black... and the stronger of the two is the one you feed. :) I had heard that tale before but with a different twist... someone had related it to Galatians 5:16-25 ... and the white dog (wolf) was the Christian when choosing to live in the power of the Holy Spirit, while the black dog (wolf) was the Christian choosing to live to their own nature and desires. And in the same way - we are strongest based on which one we feed the most! I have always loved that analogy - it was really cool to read it stated in a different way!

I need to run now... I hope this finds you all doing well! {{big hugs}} ~CJ

Thank you CJ. It is true, we have all walked away and forgotten our farmers. It just bugs my inner self to do so with carrots xD

I look forward to hearing your adventures of moving again. I hope you have a smooth experience all goes well in your Illinois move.

    Hi farmers;)
I had mentioned on November that I had English exams. The results were announced this week and I am so happy to tell you that I managed to pass them. I had to pass each part of them (Speaking, Listening, (Grammar-Cloze-Vocabulary-Reading on multiple choices) and Writing. I think I am better at understanding texts and people talking and I am less better in writing. I believe I managed to pass the writing part because I practice here. So I want to thank players and mods for letting me write here, reading my posts and correct me.
I am really sorry for my mistakes, thank you for being so good with me. This is a great forum and I will always try to get better.
