Been awhile since anyone has posted in here. I hope everyone is doing fine in real life and on Farmerama.

My job been having contest for who can sort the most items in one hour. I won twice, but lost the third time. I was disappointed in losing the third time, but at least I tried. The first time I came in second place. They didn't announce how many items I sorted that day. Second time I came in Third place with 743 items. The person who came in first sorted 920, for second, 849. However, the expected average of items you must sort per hour in 349.

Anyway, Mirah and I have been doing fine. Both excited for the day we meet. It seems like it's forever now that I have the official departing day. I also been buying things ahead of time for the trip.

Glad to hear all is going well Solo! I want to suggest that you see a physician well before your trip. I have traveled to many places and several times found that a new vaccine that I didn't already have was required or suggested. Something to think about...

@Arielh, I sort basically everything. Phones, video games, batteries, books, movies, etc. It's exciting sometimes to see what's inside the box when you open it.

@Willow, My new manager told me I always do very good. I tend to reach like 110% to 140% for my rate.

@labmommy30, I'll check that out. I would rather be safe then sorry. ;)

Also, thank you guys for your replies. :)

I always been having positive news to be sharing with you guys, well now this time it's negative.
Apparently my laptop has decided to break down on me. The screen randomly shuts off and must be rebooted.
However, rebooting it doesn't work. It can still fail and need many reboots.

Additionally, my car needs tires. I prefer brand new ones because you're so much better off.

This will be quite expensive for those items. I also want to buy Mirah a necklace with both of our names on it. That will be her birthday gift.

For those who wonder how we are doing.....
Our relationship is improving so much each day. We still strongly want to be together with each other very much. I am also quite excited for the day we will be together.

Hi solo - good to see you! I am so sorry to hear you are having expensive repairs for your computer and car. Those unexpected expenses can be tough if you are caught off guard. Very happy to hear that you and Mirah continue to grow in your relationship and I wish you all the very best. :)

So sorry about all those expenses, solo. I agree with you about the new tires; that is a good investment in safety.

Very glad that your relationships with Mirah is dong so well!:)

Hi All. I haven't been here in forever or so it seems!
I had hoped life was well with everyone...
Solo Laptop and new tires, sorry to hear of the problems occurring.:(
Your post is not completely negative, How wonderful that your relationship with Mirah is progressing nicely, what a sweet idea for a gift, I'm sure she'll love just the idea of it since money may become an issue.
I've run into a few problems lately as well, in my case my own fault, as PNP says, guess that what's happens when you let your guard down.

Hope everyone will be enjoying their holiday get together's!

    Hello everyone,
I can see not much has been going on lately with this thread. Especially without Cj being active like she used to be. I have always been inactive on Farmerama. Many times I considered quitting the game, but I can't ever see myself doing that. I have invested a lot of time into creating a very good Farming account. I had plenty of fun doing so. The people I have met on this game are great people.

I have bought a Chromebook and new tires. Costed me a total of $465.00 USD. I made a very good decision for when I bought my new tires, because it snowed five days after buying them. Therefore my car had no trouble at all for getting to work when the roads were left not plowed. Also my car is the only one that can make it up my Dad's driveway for coming home. My brother and Dad can't make it up the driveway. What happened was, no one wanted to shovel it when it started snowing. So when I arrived home at 5:58 AM, the driveway had a few inches of snow. My car went right up without any hassle. Later that day, when my brother and dad went out with their cars. They couldn't get back up the driveway. The cars both got stuck not even half way.

Very excited for the day I will be visiting Mirah. I will be leaving sometime on February 9th to make it on-time. My flight is at 1:10 AM February 10th. Cathay Pacific Flight 899 is the one I'm using. (Hope I can at least share this)

We have been having ups and downs. But the important thing is, we choose to still be together and communicate to each other every single day. Lately we have been doing phone calling each day. If we skip a day from calling, then you begin missing each others voice.

I haven't yet bought the necklace, because paying around $100.00 USD for a silver double heart necklace doesn't seem worth it. I see them sell for $20.00 USD without engraving. I really want to give her the one with our names engraved, but I need some motivation from you guys. I am a guy, so of course I don't understand jewelry, hehehe.

Solo, that would be a very thoughtful gift that I am sure she would appreciate! Maybe you can find the necklace for less somewhere and then find a place to engrave it for a lesser cost. I hope you have safe travels!!
