Just finished harvesting and compared my numbers to what's needed. Not going to make the cloud row and related givers. I'm not sure I'll have time to harvest tomorrow morning before I need to leave. Then only one more harvest tomorrow night. Not interested in getting up before 5a PST to harvest 3 farms either. All for a cloud row that is only worth 700 EP day since I only harvest CRs once a day. Too much stress for almost nothing. I'll just wait until tomorrow night and cherry pick some rewards.

 

WooooHooo my strategy worked ... all finished .... with 28 hours still to go ... i didn't buy any baskets and i have 158 drops left over
Now to plant my winnings see what i get

 

Hi all,

I've got the secret stables, secret seedlings and the cloud row. I have activated the cloud row.
Right now I'm not going to take the harvest helpers rewards yet because I'm saving it for Moonlight Mania event so I will collect the prizes before the event ended. Until then I will harvest everything by hand.

Well, I decided to go easy with this event. So far I've completed all silver tasks and G3 and G6. Next up are D3 and D6 so that I've got all the wonder trees and wonder stables. If I've got time left, I'll complete the G2 and D2 to get the Cuckoo stables. I probably won't make it to get the items, but that's okay. I simply didn't have enough time this weekend with other things I also had to do. It was fun though

 

I had a late start and some confused thinking yesterday but I should still be able to make it on both farms. Pnp will finish first and I am hoping BW will finish today before bedtime. I have not donated anything yet because I find that during the times that a lot is going on for me that I miss the mark with the final count of seeds and either over plant or have a panic for those last few that I missed. For example, I usually determine how many PLOTS I need toward the end but last event I sewed the field with the intent that it was SEEDS and couldn't figure out why I did not have enough. Fortunately, there was enough time to correct it but that will not be the case this time. Nice event with some nice rewards. Congratulations to those who have finished and good luck to those still working.

 

pnp, the only issue with waiting to donate is if there is a technical problem and you can't log in to finish.

I've done everything except collect the Swiss Flag. The last crops for that are planted. Everything else is ready.

lovelyfarm1, I like your strategy on the harvesters but I won't have the time today to do without them. I managed to get a coupon from Renzo's Fair that will see me through most of MM. Plus, like I mentioned, I hate to wait to the last minute to complete. I am glad you have the time and energy for your plan.

 

Yes Agree with CaliChrome that lovelyfarm1 good Strategy to Unlock The Harvester at last minute, before Swiss Event Ends. As Swiss Made a Big Difference to be a shorter Event with Less Work and Decent Rewards. But Swiss Cloud Row is not rewarding really also Swiss Bahm EP Givers are ok But not the Best Bahm Ep Givers.

It Good to get total of 24 Wonder Trees very Generous offer. I hope to Get some Tamarinds,Amhershias and Kowhai Trees to Help with The Quests as they are Pricey Fruits to buy in the Markets

It Makes a Change to have a Mini Crop Growing Event as we not had one of these for quiet a while now. Talking of Mini Events i wonder what happened to Happy Tree Day Mini Event is it ever coming back would be nice

Now Cant Wait to Start the Dreadful Dinner Event so have my Planned Strategy Ready for that will be fun getting those Haunted Treasure Chest.

At Least we did not need to to grow very tiresome amount of event crops this time round so overall good Thumbs Up

 

How did you do that? You might have posted something before but I didn't understand it. You can grow the crops before the event starts?

I think you misread igotfrogs' post. What frogs means by "with 28 hours to go" is that there are still 28 hours left before the event ends.

You still have time. Every 5 hours the game will give you 5 if you are at zero. Plant them on 2x2s and you will have 25.

could catch up the time.

5 seed plant on 2X2 . 1 plot yield 5, 5X5 = 25, you don't need to eat PJ or CAC

 

Finished! But disappointed I couldn't use the Swiss Flag reward to complete the cloud row, so I used a flower wheelbarrow instead.

 

Time is what I do not have. Am retiring to bed soon and will wake up 12 hrs later. Will only get to play some 5 hours after.
If only the replenishment could happen now. I'd wait the 2 hrs to harvest, but it seems as if it will happen when I am snoring...

 

I would definitely label this event as difficult, at least for my farming style: too many crops -one of them with a cumbersome, hard to make fit timing- in too short a time. I never reap my farms apart for events, a habit that proved challenging for this particular one.

In my main, A., I'll probably be compelled to leave one task unfinished. In my lower level ones, I'll hardly get most of the stuff except for the CR.

But I disagree about the CR being "not very rewarding" -I don't care about the floral wires: I do about the EPs/B-EPs-.

It is, indeed, pretty rewarding, though only for players who frequently access their farms.

Indifference for either EPs or B-EPs -as opposed to placing the items in parks- is reached at 5 CR harvests per day, but, as it happened with Czech Roots CR, that indifference point also comes with the bonus of a similar amount of EPs or B-EPs (depending on what you have your focus on); so, it's a matter of frequency, and the CR is the way to go if one can. The givers are very good by themselves, among the best ever, both for EPs or B-EPs; therefore, it's good to get them.

In that "frequency" sense, we shouldn't forget that BP is preparing some kind of automated CR harvesting, so I reckon we'll see more of these short cooldown time CRs in the future -maybe this is just the first one-, as a way to compelling us to buy such service: for the sake of "the economy of the game", the amusing euphemistic way the Producer found to mean "BP's financial health" -when talking about why they bluntly disregarded their initial commitments for the mill-CR effect, choosing to downgrade it as they pleased-.

 

completed my first ever event, finally got the last of the drops and then some, so please DO NOT donate anymore to me thank you. will have to get trophies up a little more, 24% is a little too close i think. now to go and figure out this new cloud row, will be my 2nd complete. just set up my fields back to normal to try and make some cc.
learned quite a bit, that cac can be a powerful tool, not only for events.
