I am please with 190 initial drops from rose hips. I do like having an event crop carry over for the event animal. Hoping to have lynx on the farm very soon!

I'm in on this one too... I like the minimal requirements for attaining the rewards of the Lynx stables and their production pens, plus some extra goodies too. I decided I will use the coveted 27 PF, and after I finish the event I'll mill all the Lynx feed I can using all my free drops (rather than using a bunch more of my acorns later), and growing a bunch of extra event crops while the event is still running. Easy peasy.

141 drops from initial harvest. I accidentally left garlic growing overnight though due to an FSQ I was working on instead of planting my usual carnations. But I'm happy with those numbers. Got a bit of a late start this morn, but almost have enough nettle to plant across all 3 fields on 1x1 plots using CAC. Going to rack up the amount I need before doing anything else. Milling PF in the meantime. I think these lynxes are adorable. Really cute event & I think it's going to be fun.

I have made the grand decision to do the same as PeepsCA. I would still like fish biscuits. Oh, I am getting over a flu and sometimes I get tired before my crops are done for the day. I went to bed with about a 6 hour crop with a grand total of ~90 fish biscuits. Yippee!!!! As my mother says, better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

 

Feel Better soon Baw.... and I feel your farming oops, this MM I fell asleep with short time crops growing and didn't harvest them and replant with long crops and trees before MM ended, so no to minimal drops from there for my farms if we need them for any kind of MM event next time lol

I don't have the lynx yet. Probably after an hour or so. I was noticing I had a menagerie on my land . . . put my mouse over it . . . empty. I must be still running on fumes, or need some caffeine, or something.

At least we have lotsa time to do this event, even with a few bloopers long the way lol

 

An EMPTY menagerie? I am pretty sure that's a FMS (Farmerama Mortal Sin). At least it is on my farms.

I am using PF to feed the Lynx stalls just until I get enough event crop to mill a few feed. So I'm trying a 'some and some' method...otherwise known as I'm winging it (like usual).

The good news is that I got the stalls just now and they are out...so far so good for day one of the event.

I also got myself a Giraffe stall! I went to buy SG with farm coins and discovered that we can now buy giraffe and pheasant stalls with the recent farm coin shoppe reset. Whee! I have to buy the feed for them (no langsat on this farm), but at least I finally can "grow" them.

 

Okay, slight miscalculation - I told you so! Forgot that work will probably prevent me from finishing today, darn RL! Definitely all set to finish tomorrow! Wahoo!

THANKS @dumbunny for the heads up I FINALLY have a Giraffe now Thought it would be months before one showed up on my farm after looking HIGH & LOW thru all those wonder stables Took almost all my farm coins, but better than BB's without a sure reward of a Giraffe Now to save up some more & get a second thou now that I have one a couple more might just wander over from those wonder stables

 

My thanks to you too dumbunny I hadn't remembered to check the shop so didn't know we could get a giraffe and pheasant. I don't have them on my BillyWhiskers farm so I'm off to see how many farm coins I have.

 

Thanks for the tip from me too!! I was getting desperate for one of those And I managed to snag a snail and a lion from Pick a Stable Moving right along with the event Just going to keep growing those nettles
