Thanks baw. It's ok. I just have lot going on right now and can't keep all the moving pieces of life and the game straight. Probably I should have skipped the events but once I got started, I didn't want to feel I had wasted my time so I am just going to keep going. Because I've donated along the way, I have no idea how much I have left to do as I didn't keep track.

 

I hate #23 --Blocking my path and keeping me from completing this event (no Slime Workshop yet) on 2 of my farms.

UPDATE: Working on getting my Slime Mill; with all the requirements to build it and then having to go back to billing event crop for the Flaming Pumpkins its going to be too late for this event but maybe I will be ready for the next one.

 

How in the world are we supposed to get that many Flintstones is beyond me...… Anyone have any suggestions? Wow! I need over 600 and this morning harvest yielded me 89. I don't see me getting that upgrade if that's my drop rate..... Yikes!

 

Plant Long term crops Molly when you can, and the drop rat will surprise you

 

Hi Molly! Although it seems a lot of Flintstones, we are halfway through the event and the total requirement was 1,400+ so you have already managed to collect 800 (remember maths is not my strong point). As Banjo says, planting longer growing crops or maybe animals on one of your main farm fields should make a big difference.
I need 503 Flintstones too but I am confident ( ) that I will make it.

Wish I had the same confidence for the other event!

 

I got 100% fintstones for orange rabbits but not red rabbits. I got 50% on regular rabbits. I didn't fair great with trees, about 1/4 to 1/3 with trees. The longer, higher level stalls gave me only 1 flintstone drop, and sometimes not that much. For example, my neon drops gave me 1 drop.

1x1 longer level crops might be the way to go with this event. However, after I how grown enough of the event crop, I often plant a very long crop on comfort fields with super grow, normally using the boosters to enhance super grow speed. Sometimes I enhance it with additional boosters to speed up the crop with another 6% and 4%. Those drops with long acting crops on comfort fields with super grow are normally much above average.

Also usually the drops are superior the last 24 hours of an event. I wasn't low this time, but since I typically use 1x1 with carrot apple chutney and no super grow, I am often low on drops until the last day. I try to never buy drops because I'm afraid Bigpoint will punish me by making the drops harder. I don't know they do this, but it makes some business sense to do it so I'm not going to risk being put in that category.

It's in their best interest to hold drops to the last day to encourage people to buy them. However, it isn't in their best interest to have people grow plenty of event crops only to loose on drops. That's why the last day is always the best drops. If you loose too many times on drops, you'll stop playing the events, and that's not good business.

Notice how many tents and thermoblast you have gained in the last 24 hours as the event winds down.

 

What am I missing? All lights are lit. Cloud Row 1 says I have no deco items. Cloud Row 2 activated with no problem.

 

Blessed... Place all your *Fire +* items in the Park and let them release all their charges/prizes then you delete and place them on your CR. It's called Delayed Gratification.

Congratulations kibsnfebs, I have just finished too! I have the 2nd CR up and running and have to wait for the charges to put
the givers up on the 1st CR. Good Luck to all doing this event, I hope you reach your goals! I do LOVE the graphics and the givers in the event...too cute!

 

Just two more flaming pumpkins to get for a finish to the event. Next harvest should do it. Of course, still waiting for the givers to complete their charges for inclusion on the other CR. Congrats to all who are done!

 

Farm 1 done -- Farms 2&3 working on the Slime Mill (then I will still have to harvest enough event crops for 4 flaming pumpkins)

Both Farms 2&3 managed to get the Slime Mill crops. Farm 3 just doesn't have enough Zombie Sheep to try to finish the event but farm 2 was able to finish it.

Farm 3 just keeps falling behind -- I needed sleep so I didn't finish the bingo event. Woke up in time to harvest for last combination but I was around 250 event crop short and did not have enough time for another harvest even with buffs, sg, etc.

 

Only 29 Flintstones to go and I will be done with this one - I will get these today, no problem. Didn't really understand what I was doing most of the time but managed to bungle on through!
Nice to have another event that is not to hard to achieve with a bit of time and patience.

 

Finished both events yesterday. Putting out lynx back on fields once again from today. Lazy to clear fields. So slow transformation.

 

Finished on both farms. Waiting on the the deco items with charges... yay! - one day to do regular MM farming... restocking the stuff I used getting that CR from the quest.
