Nellie, when the event goes live, you will find the starter seeds in your seed menu and since we can grow both mainland and Baha, it will show up on every field except Crystal Falls. Just about half an hour to go....

Well that was fun... I couldn't get rid of the pop up message telling me I had a free broth to try the game with. Both farms. I had to "F5" the farms to get rid of it.

Hoping that's the end of the glitches that seem to have been plaguing my farms the last few days. Tired of the mismatched sound, etc. (I think much was due to the bug graphic from the April Fool's Event).

No comments or complaints about the drop rate yet? Wowsers! :D
Here the drop count after 6 hours is at 288. My initial harvest provided about 225.

I have 205 total as of now.. 6 and a half hours into the event...Yes @Moraine that's what I came up with too 228 per day.. and I had some good crops/pens down.. I took some pens up as needed some more room for event crops on main... Rain forest filled with trees..took some pens off the other to grow long crops... But I don't know.it is still early yet . but i think drops is gonna be very hard for a lot.. mainly low level players..and even for me too. We shall see though..

Hello everyone. @Moraine , you beauty :inlove::inlove::D:D thank you for the thread and the detailed info. :inlove::inlove: @habalala your correction saves us 35 drops, 500 golden roots and 5 minutes milling time. Thank you :inlove::inlove:
After Easter Fest and April Fools events, I badly need a break.:sleepy::sleepy::sleepy: :(:( But EOCD doesn't allow me to take a break ;);):p:cry:;) Wishing all of us good luck, hope to get plenty of drops;)
P.S. My first mini game was kinda successful :inlove:;) Bullseye in second attempt gave me 60 stars.:D:D:inlove::inlove:

Thanks for starting this thread @Moraine ! :)
I got a late start today due to work issues. I love this event & so appreciate that we can use all fields. Initial drops from all fields mainland + baha = 159. But I forgot to plant a long growing crop in baha yesterday, meant to plant saguaro but was working on a quest & left green tea growing lol. I am out of SG & CAC so this should be interesting to see how far I go. I still think I'll have a good chance at finishing though. Can't wait to be level 4 in confectionery so I can buy CAC recipe & start making it! It's taking me forever what with all these back to back events I can't seem to ignore. :p
    Good luck everyone!!!

I am also suffering from EOCD!:p I'm a sucker for cloud rows or new/cute deco items!:music: My problem with the Viking events is the axe throwing....I'm awful at it. I've tried a few different strategies...but usually only get the 3 or 4th prize. :sleepy:
Any suggestions??? I would greatly appreciate any ideas/input anyone has.

    @Brookeham

I don't have the perfect solution but am willing to share how I do it :)

For heads I go by the shape of the inner space. 9/10 I start on the far left. When under 3 dots I go for more rectangular, 3 dots or more I go for more circle like. When 3 dots or more I do compare the several shapes to find an axehead with simular inner space but a different angle on top, bottom or side.

For runes I go by openings. For example: X and <> have 4 openings, B has 0 openings, C/M have 1 opening, N/F have 2 and so on. I usually start with the X, when under 3 dots I try something else, when over 3 dots I go for the <>. It's try and fail or try and success :)

For the staff .. well.. I guess. It's luck to get 5 dots early on but luckily there are always 5 dots on the last try.

Hope this helps little in your efforts.

Thanks for starting this thread Moraine. You rock!

If as many of you have mentioned 228 drops a day - I am off to a decent start ... Then again drops are always off to a good start when you have them ready at the starting bell.

I am at 204 drops on main farm and 148 on the other. I have kept some stables and necessary trees out. Butterflies - need more and more!

I am trying to figure strategy out to make at least CR for both farms. I have commitments all day Sat and Sun - so wont be able to farm much then. I may focus on crops all day tomorrow and then drop crops Sat and Sun. Will not do me much good to nuke carnations on those days for drops. Maybe I can sneak in a quick harvest and plant via my phone. Who knows.

The goal as I'm sure you now is to maximize the number of green dots. There are 15 dots total and if you can get 14 or more (also counting halves) you hit the bullseye.

The key is to try out as many different pieces as possible before the fifth try. For the first try pick any head, hilt and rune at random. If you happen to find the best head or hilt or rune, keep that one for the rest of the mini game. If it is not the best one, try a new head/hilt/rune next time. Even if it is a really good one, you should try another one in the hope to do better. Continue like this for round 3 and 4 only keep the pieces with 5 dots, if it is not 5 dots, try a new one.

If you see you can get 14 dots as some point - go for it. There are a few bonus points for finishing earlier than round 5.

If you've finished 4 rounds without hitting bullseye it is time to make the best of it. Choose the head and rune with most green dots. (If all the heads or hilts have very few dots you can take a chance a try a new one.) When it comes to the hilt you should always get the one with 5 dots. If none of the ones you've tried so far has 5 points there should only be one left - take that one it will be 5 dots.

With this tactic you will hit bullseye most times and very rarely get fewer than 40 points.

@habalala I don't belive for a minute that such considerations make any difference. First of all there is no evidence for it. Secondly I just can't imagine the programmers at BP putting that into the code, I find it so much more likely that it is all random. The reason I think some say it works, is that they get great results. The thing is, picking randomly gets you great results too! (And I can prove that with probability calculations.) So you can make up any strategy you want and it will give you great results (provided you somewhat follow the tactic I outlined above with trying different pieces to get the best ones possible). On the other hand such a strategy doesn't hurt your chances, so by all means continue to follow it if you think it helps.

Brookeham - I just use intuition. I do look at the dots and if I get a 5 dot of something, then I keep using that; otherwise, I don't think. I just click on whatever my hand leads me to click on.

I've tried thinking, but for me, thinking just gets in the way.

The other thing I try to do is maintain an optimistic - confidant attitude that I will quickly get a bullseye.

I just got a Bullseye on my 3rd try. From my free-bee throw. Yea!

I had to go out most of the day so I am re-nuking my crops. I probably won't start making the brew till tomorrow. I want enough crops tho cover all 5 fields. I have torn them all down to just pets, cause I LOVE Ingrid. This one of my favorites. I'm glad she is still around.
