I've milled 6 broths, and have 107 drops in the barn... so that's 317 drops, 9 hours into the event (7 were gifts, 1 was from my lonely ol Magic Tree). Have less drops on my other farm (only 67 in the barn, but with 6 broths milled there too), but... I got a little bit of a jump on my nuked crops with 6 hrs of +1 crop bonus off the Party Wheel (also got the new ship ride giver over there too.... nada over here tho, pfft lol).
Haven't thrown any axes yet, still have the freebees too. Gonna wait til I've got at least half of what I need... or try to anyway lol.

 

I think I did this last time... worked ok.. but thing is I didn't know what I was doing.. meaning I could NOT make sense of the pictures to do good all the time... I did however came close.. Maybe this will help me this time.. Who knows... I know I don't...lol I am willing to try anything... I just wish them pictures would change... least to something that makes sense..

 

Nor do I Mir For me it's just fun to go by some sort of regular tactics while dealing with randomness.

I think drops are going to be all over on my farm...5, 13, 8, 7 I have trees in baha so those will be very random. Seems I will just plod along and figure out which field is giving good drops and plant long crops on that one Good Luck!!

I love that we can shut the animation off! I love Ingrid and all, but it just makes it easier because my grumpy ol' man doesn't keep asking me what's making that awful noise... so thanks for that BP!

As for what to pick when Ingrid throws - it's utterly and completely random - so whatever works for you, cool. I can tell you my method is generally to start at one end or the other and work towards the other end until I get all 5 green (or as close as I can). I even got bullseye on one of the second tries yesterday so my Ingrid is all purdy in her gold accoutrements.

I keep my sound down but not completely off... and you'd think the mister wouldn't be able to hear it as he's half deaf...but he can. Apparently all those years on the flight decks of aircraft carriers made him half deaf but hyper-sensitive to Norse Geese throwing axes.

First of all, make sure you pick an axe you can easily lift, hard to throw something you can't lift.
Second, be very careful about the edge, it's sharp. You do not want to chop yourself, and we want you in one piece as well.
Thirdly, Aim away from yourself and towards the goal. Same reason as above, try to stay in once piece.
Before you throw, make sure there's no one is close the path of the throw. If in doubt check with the air control.
Lift - Throw, check goal
Repeat 40 x.

Now for max fun it does help to pick the right axe parts. But the most important thing Brooke, is for you to be safe and whole. Best of luck, cos luck (and perseverance) is all it takes.

 

LOL! Moraine and Dumbunny, so funny!

My aim is terrible this time round but the funny thing is, I seem to be doing okay with coins and I am sure I will be able to buy everything I want. I don't really want much - already got the harvester vouchers. Probably go for PF, Secret Stables, GBs and then whatever I can afford after all that!
I really like this event and I love Ingrid's concentration when she throws.
You need to take some tips from Ingrid, Brookeham! Oh, and also from Moraine ... wise words fellow farmer!

Dumbunny - I have to laugh. My father worked with military aircraft and had a similar reaction to certain sounds. Couldn't hear conversations well, but no child could rub a balloon or slide a chair across the floor without making him climb the walls!

I just did a couple of pick a tree event. Note: Make sure you select the tree and an upgrade for the tree. It appears that it increases the chance to get that tree.

I went twice and won the creepy willow and the selected upgrade

I started throwing some axes but I don't think Ingrid likes me very much this time around Or my aim and picking is really off whack Think I might just wait for tomorrow and see if I am any better at my selections

 

Missed a crop harvest so I am behind on my plan to get crops today.
My *oops* I keep forgetting to move my trophies on my second farm. The LL rune has me spoiled on my main farm.

Noticed - Drops on event crops are really poor this time round.

Haven't thrown axes yet - but after trying to cancel my gym membership today - I think I need to throw some!

 

OK I caved in, I just had to make n throw some axes lol . Apparently I need more practice tho, cuz it keeps taking me several attempts to get that dang bull's eye, and I even completely missed a couple times . I have yet to hit it on the 1st try... 2nd-5th yes, not the 1st tho. I want that 1st try bonus too, dangit lol


I see someone asked the mods if we could continue throwing axes after our 40th mini game... and woo hoo that's great that we can, but the drop rate is once again leaving a lot to be desired . Remind me again why I dumped all those koalas and seals into the black hole to top off my LL to 30%?
