Thanks to everyone. I got 45 retorts.

and I got a frog prince while opening one crate & 48 hrs seeder in another. 3hrs seeder from the wheel. So happily doing the event.
I got 7 (3+3+1)cursed coins from opening crates of that event. Got an elm tree in the morning & 20 million CCs from opening all the crates o coins which I have not opened for long. Seems to be a lucky day for me today.

I don't know wether you all noticed the below from the FAQ -


Note: The recipe combination rewards are random and 2 accounts may receive different rewards when using the same recipe combo. When using a recipe combination for the 2nd time, you will receive the same base reward as won previously.

 

I don't understand your lingo. When I was in math class... back in the Dark Ages, we wrote it...
5! = 120
(Read as 5 factorial. That's also the way we wrote it in computer code. No clue what the young'uns are doing these days. Had to drop out of college because of lack of money. Too busy with RL now to find free tutorial.)

Pretty sure the real number is either 5! * 4= 480 or (5 * 4)! = 2.432902e+18 or... maybe something I've never heard of!

The best thing to do is... write down the prizes you receive and the combo that generated it, for each farm! That way if you get tree mulch and don't really need it, like me, you can avoid it. Likewise for the prizes you get and want to repeat.

I'm going for the bonus prizes first, and probably ONLY, given the requirements for the 60 games.

I will only go for the 40 games initially to get the CR.
Then I will decide, if I am doing more or if I proceed with stocking up my MM stuff for quests. As this is quite a long MM period, I think I will stock up my barn and see, if I can get some items in Jacks shop.

Done my fist spell with blue-red-green-purple.... reward 70EPxlevel and Cinderella tree as bonus.

Suzee there is every color allowed only once per recipe, therefore there is no b,b,b,b..y,y,y,y etc

 

IF that's the case then only 120 possibilities but we still have to keep track of prizes for each of our farms if we think we want to repeat a prize rather than get the bonus.
That does make it a little simpler... lol!
I was thinking more like a combination lock where you can have 0,0,0,0 or similar.

I got 2 crate O Farm Coins & Medusa willow(my 1st one) tree as special reward from my first game. I will give the combination tomorrow. As I have that in my PC & now I am in my laptop. You see everyone has gone to sleep. And they won't allow me to use the PC as it illuminates the room. Its a week long holiday for us on account of a Hindu festival. So court starts only from coming Monday. Its going to be a big holiday for me.

I overtook you. Bonus prize are won only once Suzee ! and we cannot guess the combination because it differs from individual to individual. Only the base prize is winnable as many times as you want. The combination to win that is not the same for everyone. In Hungarian Forum, they are trying to see if the basic prize is same for players from the same market.

 

The number you are looking for is 5^4 = 5*5*5*5: 5 colors to choose from for each of the four spots. But as colors can't be repeated (it is in the faq) the number of combinations is 5*4*3*2: 5 colors to choose from for the first spot, times 4 colors to choose from for the second spot, times 3 colors to choose from for the third spot, times 2 colors to choose from for the last spot. This is the nPr(5, 4) Fredhoof mentioned. As a number it is the same as 5!, but the spirit of it is slightly different. You would use 5! if there were 5 spots to be filled by 5 different potions.

 

I'm with Clonahmon and will go for 40 mini games max. The Ingrid giver doesn't seem worth the effort to do more but maybe the rewards will.. will see.

After growing enough of event crop to fill 2 fields of both I decided to dedicate only 1 field for this event to harvest and replant with an event crop during daytime. Ratio will be about 3x Fangerine to 1x Sulfur Beans. Doing 5-6 harvests per day this should provide enough of each crop within a few days.

I'll use the other field for regular MM crops, a few trees and pens. Hope to be able to finish both new FSQ by Halloween.

Is nightshade part of this event?

 

Nope, it's not required for making potions needed to play the mini game.
It's a new regular MM crop and is asked for in the new FSQs.

 

second spell was blue, red, green, yellow, leaving purple behind.
Reward: 3000 CC plus one copper stable as bonus.
Will try red at first position to see, if I can get something like crates or supergrow or so
NO I AM NOT greedy

 

I'm not sure about the drops, they're pretty measly right now, on my Third field (from starting way late) and I've got 47. not good.
question for anyone who'll listen: the Moonlight booster is for regular crops right?

Where can you find the other 2 new trees Ember beech and Midnight oak?

 

Ember beach was one of the ERIE Wonder tree edition,
but both can be won in the actual event (if you find the right combination)
