This is becoming ridiculous now

Now I am having to refresh the page to use the mill sometimes
This problem has been going on for a long time now and not being addressed and isn't getting any better with each update of flash

My time is becoming more out of the game then I am playing it
AND isn't that good when the mill is needed in an event.... I am wasting time which is essential in an event

The problem all stems from a flash player update ..it wont let me uninstall it to go back to an earlier version ...SO I am stuck with it and do not know what else to do now

ANGRY yes I am ...and I think anyone would be ... this is unacceptable
I have had this problem since the last few days of holiday hustle ...that was last December from the of 21st to the 28th 2015 ...and is now 17th march 2016 and STILL nothing has been done to solve it

It isn't as bad as it was ...but it is still happening

Why are you unable to uninstall Flash Player and go back to an older version, like before ? Have you tried Mozilla Firefox or (oh, dear) Internet Explorer?

I haven't a clue Teddy ...I uninstall it with flash player uninstaller ...restart my computer... install 20.0.0.306
Login to farmerama and look at what version I have got AND it is ***( drum roll) *** 21.00.182


Security Update for Adobe Flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3144756)<<<< this was installed on 10th / 3rd / 2016

Can you tell me what I am doing wrong In how I am uninstalling it ?


I use Chrome as my browser to get into Farmerama

This isn't a browser problem Teddy ... tried 3 browsers last time I put the thread in ....it still happened with all of them
It isn't pepper because I haven't even got that in my plugins ...it seems to have disappeared for some reason

Have narrowed it down to Flash player in all that I have done ...and don't think I am far wrong

Have just read the thread of elimeno ... they seem to be having the same problem
Cannot Farmerama email flash player about this problem with their up dates and get a patch from them to resolve it ?
IF it isn't the fault of farmerama and it certainly isn't the players fault... because I have done everything possible to get rid of this

We don't know how Farmerama resolves the Flash issue this is something for the upper chain to take care of.

If you are not rebooting your computer, which probably pushes the update, does the older version stay installed, and can you access the game without problems?

Rebooting a computer is restarting isn't it ?

Which I did to get rid of the new version of flash player...then installed the older version
Did you mean I had to restart after I installed the old version

If that was the case then surely it would have pushed it in whenever I restarted my computer.... which it hasn't ?

It doesn't install the older version whatever I do Teddy
it installs 21.0.0.182 back on again
The next thing I am going to try is do a restore to an earlier date to see if that might help get 20.0.0.306 back on ....but that will probably be useless because it will be updated back on again

 

HI, sorry to hijack, but it sounds like a flash problem rather than a farmerama problem? I had something similar earlier. If so, you likely you have more than one copy on your computer. Go into your control panel and try to delete it. For better details, check the website for help with flash. You should find a document/website that will give you full instructions.

It could also be that you are having a browser conflict problem...

I am not a computer geek, so cannot help you further, but the above is what I remember from how I fixed a similar problem.

 

Thank you woody for your input and the advice ..I think it is a flash problem also...because it only happens whenever it's updated
When I installed an earlier version of flash...all went well and didn't have the problem ...BUT on the 6th of march this year they updated it and it went back to having to refresh the page to get to another field again...not as bad as it has been ...but still annoying

Have just done a restore to an earlier date which has put back 20.0.0.203 which will hopefully help while trying to find a permanent solution to the problem
A few people have emailed me with some suggestions and you have also which is great ...Because I had run out of ideas of what to do next ...so now I have more to work from
I cannot believe how helpful and friendly the people are in this game and I thank you all for your help

Isn't the browser...because I have just tried with explorer...had to refresh to get to next field
So it is flash and I think you may be right about my having more then one copy of flash on my computer Woody ...found that to be so... using explorer ... that flash player had entirely different number (which is the new update) ...to the one i am using in Chrome which is 20.0.0.203 the older version

Now to find some courage to embark on the problem of uninstalling flash player

Done that and I am still with 20.0.0.230 ...I am happy with that ...when the next up date arrives and installs another mess up... then I will do the restore again
Until the powers above deem it fit to actually get or make a patch for this problem
