but the joke is one them it is after midday

 

this is not April Fool anymore. hope they have disappeared by tomorrow, it is sooo annoying!!

 

enough is enough - how do I turn off the stupid moles

 

To turn off the moles:
When you're on any of your fields, there are 3 little boxes in the upper right corner: click on the middle box (the one that has a picture of gears). Then from the drop down menu, click the picture that has a wrench (if you hover over it w/ your mouse it says "Change your game settings"). Then click on the tab that says "Additional settings". Scroll down to the one that says "Show snow" and turn it to OFF. Scroll down further, to the bottom. In both the left and right columns, there are options "Activate special effects". Turn those both to OFF. That should do the trick...bye bye, exploding moles!

 

If you go into your game settings ..... under the additional settings .... turn off activate special effect

But you might want to turn it back on when the easter event starts as i don't know if changing that setting will stop the bunnies in the easter event ....

 

I expect the moles to go away at reset, half an hour from now.


EDIT: I spoke too soon. The little irritants are still there. Okay BP, time to get rid of them. Joke is over.

 

oh to be a rl farmer and see the real damage moles do.... those critters can cause alot of problems, broken legs on horses, cattle etc, not to mention what they do to fields of crops and gardens, thankfully here on farmerama it was only visual destruction ( unless you have sound on) No animals damage no disappeared crops.

 

Actually, I have Richardson's ground squirrels (don't call them gophers. Gophers are protected, ground squirrels are not.) that dig big holes. My horse doesn't have a problem but I've done myself some damage stepping in them. Moles are much smaller and not usually as big an issue. (The moles I've seen are about the size of a mouse.)
