Thoughts on Comfort Fields?

Are they worth it if you play daily? Or better for playing every other day or so as intended? Thoughts? Seems great to have for the triple harvest & double EP but do you have to wait the 48 hours to harvest?

 

As a daily player I find comfy fields a bit too long and dull. I want to pop in and harvest several times a day, so it doesn't suit me. I know other farmers use them both to fit into RL and to improve harvest during events.

 

I quite often plant wheat on mine - 32mins with water. They're great overnight for 4 hr event crops too.

 

I love comfort fields. At Christmas/Holiday time I put my longest crop in so I don't have to keep harvesting.
I also like to have a few out among the trees and pens most of time to stock up on crops according to the time I can next harvest. I just water and sometimes manure but don't bother with PJ (Pumpkin Jam) or CAC (Carrot Apple Chutney).

Well worth it. They essentially give you 2 options of different growing times for the same crop. 3 if you include the option of comfort fields + super grow (I have Jumbo trees which I keep out to give me EP and supergrow). Team that up with greenhouse refinements and you've got a whole lot of extra flexibility in growing times.
Overnight, I sometimes use comfort fields of mushrooms + refinement + water + manure. That's a good way to get drops if there's an event on and mushrooms always sell well as they're used for CAC.
Another good overnight crop for me is strawberries in comfort fields. They have a x10 board drop refinement (though it doesn't quite seem to be working properly) and I'm collecting boards for upgrading my menagerie at the moment.

 

I am often busy on weekends, with little time to farm, so comfort fields come in handy. Sometimes I do a mix of comfort fields and pens if I need to build up the manure pile.

 

I use them when I want to build up stocks of shorter crops and am not going to be online to harvest. I also remember using them for some of the timed FSQ. In some cases, I have used them, often with supergrow, for shorter event crops, particularly at night.

 

Quite often use my for event crops overnight or when at work with supergrow since the drops seem better. I also use them for things like strawberries overnight or other short term crops to build them up.
