I have been looking and a reading getting lost as I read something really good not in my search but good elsewhere... So having gone back to the beginning more times than I will admit:music: I'II just ask.
Has there ever been a thread on what goes to weed fastest, the if any, loss of ep or drops leaving stalls/trees/crops out and if so what the cut off times might have been around?

I am a card carrier of the 40 watt club, and I have been getting nowhere trying experiments as to the fact I am lousy at knowing if I plant XXX amount of mixed or pure crops can be planted close to say 2, 4 10 hours to event and will not go to weed, and 36 hour stalls can be ok if within XX amount of hour of event?

Thank-you for your advice fellow farmer, but I will explain more here.
I Mix a lot of items at times due to not having more of said items.
So making a field of all the same finish times is not always workable also I like to go for crops etc. that I need more of to get drops, like bio stall I need glue so the few I have do not fill a field so must mix.

    Have I made any sense?

Hi ming :) As long as you are not using refinements all crops take the same amount of time to go to weeds - 24 hours after they are ready (it is 48 hours if they are on comfort fields and never with premium). Refinements can speed this process up, or slow it down. But I don't think it is something you have to worry about if you are planting crops the day before to be harvested at event start.

You won't get less EP or drops from a crop if you leave it ready for some time without harvesting. When we talk about drops we often say that the most important thing is to harvest on time. That does not mean that you'll get less drops from leaving something ready, just that in the meantime you could have been growing something else giving you additional drops. Make sense?

Of course before the event has started this is not an issue (for the drops I mean). I understand the problem with making a mixed field finish exactly at the same time. But like I said, you won't get less drops at event start if some of the things have been ready for a while. So you don't have to worry about that :) Just set it up so that it is ready to harvest at event start (or earlier).

Hope I understood you correctly :)
