Time Travel - Strategy Thread

Completed All 7 Levels of timed Quest, did it in 7 rounds. I had to play with caution not to mess it up. As I too notice the counter for time quest is abit on slow side, to get correctly amount of donations per step

poor Clash not got the timed event steps right, as i did get some paper out to work it out, I did it bit different to Mir85 method as i nuked little too many event crops lol. But not able to do it in less than 6 rounds

 

This event took some good planning & focus to follow said plan , but with morning harvest will complete gold & diamond parts of level 4 with exactly 375 seeds left to plant on Baha & Rainforest (if I remember to start timers & harvest by hand). Wait for final 1500 to mature & CR is mine!
Won the +1 harvest bonus for 6 hrs yesterday (only able to use it on 1 harvest) to help speed up completion of event. This event required some mental gymnastics, especially after winning the bonus, nice to know the little gray cells still work! 2 events running at the same time is a bit much, but since each event was completely independent, it just required a bit more focus to keep them straight. And it did save on harvester coupon use. Have all the blue pansies needed to get other CR, so can switch to 1x2's after tomorrow & just grow enough event crops to get some extra goodies from those Red Panda's.
@puppiesnponies no FOCD horror, I grew 6 hr event crop overnight for 2 nights!!!

 

Congrats to all who have finished, well done I grew longer crops overnight, so I still have two rounds left, but I'll get there today. Good luck to all who are still working on it!

 

I'm still planting and harvesting. Not it a rush, enjoying it. Love the flowers, makes me smile every time I harvest. BP's artists really are good at their job.

 

Two rounds to go. Will be gone most of the day so may finish final round tomorrow. At first glance of the calendar with 2 events simultaneously, I thought EEEEK!, but it has been fun, each one in their own different way.

i used crystal falls for replanting and other 2 fields to fill timed quests. i didnt start timed quests until they were ready and i counted squares to do multiple timed races at once. i harvested a lot of squares by hand to get maximum done. i am done. yay

 

@-Mir85- Thanks again for marvelous plan. I'm moving smoothly but slowly. I prefer your second option, start each step from scratch and then just plant what's missing to complete it. I'm also doing the main fields event and that actually helped me as Red Panda gave me 75K TEP (10 GBs) and I was able to open first Crystal Falls zone ( 22 1x1 plots extra). I'm going for the Task 4 diamond... 1M TEP. That hopefully will give me a lot of GBs, maybe even I'll be able to open Crystal Falls zone 2.

Completed this one this morning...Yay!! I had the +1 from the wheel and all would have been well except I fell asleep and just turned off phone alarm instead of getting up You know how that goes So I was short for the last step of ready crops Said "Phooey" and planted remaining crops. 385 leftover Congrats to those who have finished and to those making great progress in their levels!!

I tried to send you an igm (in game message), but I guess you didn't get it. Your farm is showing up as level 2 in my friends list. That usually means that there is an old inactive account with the same name as yours, the wires are being crossed so messages and gifts won't reach you. You will have to contact support (see link) and ask them to fix it for you. This happens from time to time unfortunately, see this thread for example.

It was a big change to harvest 1x1's manually...but do-able.

This morning was special Got 100% on harvest and could complete the 3 parts still missing. So, event completed using SG and Suzy only for the initial multiplication

Done as well. This farmer now is owner of a CR which benefits a +1 only on Sugarcane, Bamboo and Meadow Grass for only 3 hrs and only once a week (DUH!, FOCD has its side effects .. )

@habalala Pineapple Mango Mask gives +1 Sugarcane for 6 hrs when ever you use it! Completed CR this afternoon, quickly read pop-up as +1 grain for 3 hrs, went WOO-HOO realizing I had 2 full fields of Foxtail Mullet to harvest in a couple of hrs. Put in a round of Sugarcane just because. Harvested the Sugarcane & got my 5 per 1x1, went to harvest the Foxtail Mullet and saw only 4 per 1x1.
Checked the cloud row & saw it only applied to Baha! Oh well at least the EP & TEP amounts are good. Really must clean my glasses more often & read new things more carefully.

 

@dafodily LOL.. you're right, when timed right the CR + PMM + Pineapple Cake provides us a +3 on sugarcane.. Whoa, time for a happy dance! I go without glasses

 

I finish time travel on this account last night. Still working on my other.(5 tasks left)..

Main Farm: I should finish time travel today on my main farm. My strategy was to do each Step one first for each task. Then I did all of Level 7 tasks. I wanted to secure Cloud Row first. Working on the last giver in Task 4. Then cloud row will be complete. I will go back to Tasks 1 and 2 and work on them if I want the goodies.

My calculator has become my buddy for this event. Whew!

Second farm: Like Toonie - I managed to get one field of Crystal opened up. I am waiting for a second round of crops to grow to finish a task. Timer on phone is set! I don't think I will be able to finish on this farm and that's ok. I hope to get some goodies though!

I'm finished on both farms. Like the givers in the Bunny Love event, these give terrific TEP and far outpace the reward from the cloud row so they are now sitting in Shipwreck Bay and can't wait to scoop up that lovely TEP when I harvest

 

After realizing there is only 3 grains in baha I also think it would be much better to do as puppies is doing. Think someone needs to rethink the CR rewards a bit

 

Finished finally and only 246 plants over. Anyway I do think I will also use the givers and might pop them up there on occasion if I need to grow lots of sugarcane quickly. The givers are also really cute so I like the idea of getting to see them often. I use the harvester in the clouds so rarely see 95% of the stuff up there.
