Timed harvesting of chickens

Hi I need to harvest 24 chickens in 1hr 49secs in a challenge. I believe I can use less than 24 chicken coops to do this by harvesting some of these chickens just after I start the challenge. But at the moment I have 2 orange coops and 3 yellow coops and this isn't going to be enough is it? How would you recommend I get around this with the least expense possible. The prize for all of this is an orange chicken coop.

 

Hi potty-pig - you are right that you don't need 24 coops. You need to be able to make 12 chickens at the beginning of the challenge and then the last 12 to be ready during the timeframe.

Each orange pen gives you 2 chickens * 2 pens = 4 chickens
Yellow coops give 1 chicken * 3 pens = 3 chickens
You need to buy 5 more coops(it will cost you 1100 CC to buy the coops), feed them and when ready start your challenge. Watering the orange pens will make sure they are ready to harvest in the time allowed for the challenge. Good luck!
