Timer

Could you please clarify how the timer works? Two of my neighbors have sent me timers. If I cancel a stage, do the timers get used automatically? Or do I get a choice as whether to use them? I already canceled Bunilyn once before I got the timers and it didn't seem to affect the 2 hours, but I don't remember getting even a greyed out option to use timers.

I'm afraid I can't figure it out from the FAQ.

I'm not a mod, but I wanted to let you know that someone else asked the same question about an hour ago, and a mod answered it. The thread is a few below yours in the General Issues section, and the title is Timer??? Hopefully your questions will be answered by reading that.

 

So, if I hit cancel, and I have 5 timers, they automatically get used? I was hoping I could save them.

 

No, they are not automatically used

When you press cancel, a countdown timer appears, showing that you have to wait two hours for the new requirements. If you don't want to wait, you can use the timers (or BBs) to skip the wait The number of timers needed depend on how long it is left.

 

I already did one reset and waited the 2 hours, but that was before I had the timers. I just couldn't figure out if timers got used automatically, or if I had a choice whether or not to use them.

Timers are not automatically used if you reset, they are only used if you do not wish to wait for the 2 hour cooling down period.
