Hello, for those of you who have been playing this game a long time, would you like to share any tips on obtaining and saving up as much powerfeed as possible? I currently obtain powerfeed through quests mostly, but it takes a looooong time. Since I just started breeding, I'm realizing the need for lots of powerfeed. I wish we could purchase it with our own $ instead of BBs. I don't have enough BBs. I also don't see it in the market for sale. Plus, it takes 10 hours each time to make it myself. I try to make 1 or 2 a day but have other feed to make as well. I just wanted to start this thread to get advice from as many longtime players as possible. Thanks in advance!

Keep your mill moving! I try to have enough feed in the mill for all animals (even those I haven't got) - minimum 100 for those not currently out and more if you are building up stock in a particular animal/product. Then mill, mill, mill PF! :D

PF can't be purchased with CC so you won't find it on the market.

You can, however, buy it for $$$ by going to the Bank in the City and clicking on the Shop button where it says Barnyard Bill Packs (on the right). Under the Starter Kits tab, you'll find the "Feeding Frenzy" Starter Kit which gives 60 units of PF for 1.99 USD.

They also sell BB packs under the Game Currency tab, which you can then use to buy PF packs at the Supply Store.

Or you can wait for the Power Feed Savings Sale during the next Baby Boom event when they sell small/medium/large packs for BB or the XL pack for $$$ at discounted prices.

It's also possible to speed up your mill by unlocking the Super Mill rune for 50 stars on the Tree of Wisdom, which will reduce milling time by 10%. That should cut down the milling time for PF to 9 hours, saving you 1 hour per unit.

If that's not fast enough for your needs, you can wait for the Mill Subscription sale when they sell subscriptions for 75 BB or 1.99 USD to make the mill 50% faster for 30 days. The current sale just ended though, so it might be a while before the next one.

Other than that, the only way to get PF is through quests and events. :sleepy:

You can get some in the Shop-O-Rama in exchange for Farm Coins, but the events that reward those coins tend to be barn burners (e.g., Recycl-o-Mat, The Fruit Market).

There's just no easy way to get PF unless you have lots of $$$.

Breed only during Baby Boom to save the PF, Have neighbours that buy the largest PF pack (okay a bit silly, but still it's a way)

Great advice everyone!! I appreciate it! @Moraine I just have to finish breeding the rest of the animals I need to get through the magic stalk quest. They're too expensive to buy on the market for me. After that I'll wait for the baby boom event, thank you! @zerodegrees I am headed to the bank! I don't normally make purchases in this game but I'm desperate to get through the magic stalk quest. I'll follow your other tips as well, thanks! @illy1996 I always have more than enough feed for my animals on hand but today I'll follow your advice & just mill as much as possible for them till nightfall, then focus on PF for a few days, thanks!

I very often do Comic book 1 quest to get the farming machinery for 3 hours. The rewards very often give 3 hrs machinery or 6 power feeds or 12 super grows or some low giving EP items or crafting products. You can choose from any of the 3 reward options. Sometimes we get unexpected useless items. But so for I have many times got the machinery and made around 50 power feeds from them.

The quest asks me for 1000 sorghum, 1800 oats, 250 apples, around 400 to 500 crops of different levels cropsand few animals. May be costly for some farm but I do it to save my energy/manual clicking.

gardengal, if you're breeding to open the magic beanstalk, there's a breeding event coming up in about a week, and it is sure to have a Baby Boom in it. Also, if you have any stars, you might look to the tree of wisdom for your last animal: the Flaming Steer. Right above the peach tree and chest of BB's on the trunk is the Breeding Rune. On it, you get to pick which animal you get. One is the flaming steer. So, if you have the stars to spare (between 40-60. I think it was 60), it will save you a lot of money and powerfeed to just get the steer there. That's what I did.

Great tip One-Two! I haven't bothered much with the Comics but I just did Comic 1 twice, first time best choice was SG but second time got 3 hours all harvester functions - RESULT! I did try Comic 3 and got 2 SSG but I only did this cos I hadn't done it before. :p

Is Comic 1 the only to give harvester functions and/or PF?
