Trade & Gift

I apparently have never tried to find something that I want to trade for on the trade & gift. So I am trying to obtain a particular item but when I go to look for the item I want the system only brings up the stables etc that I already have - I am trying to obtain something I DON'T have. What am I doing wrong? I clicked on manage offers & then make an offer but all I get is the stuff I have. Floridasolve 1404513

Are you searching for an item from the right hand side:

Once chosen, you can scroll through the catergories (trees/stables/decos) to look in that category.
The left hand side is for what you are offering.

That's what I did butr the only items that show up on the right side are the items in my own inventory. I'm looking for something I don't have.

 

Have you tried the search offers function instead of the manage offers function?

If there is a particular item you want you can search it (by category) listed under offers by others and you can also type in the description. You don't have to type in the entire description you can just type blue for blue jay and it will list all offers and requests for blue jays or anything else in that category that contains the word blue. The listings are usually offers first and then requests but I find that you have to scroll down because there are also offers at the end of the list -- the list keeps on changing so it can't stay in order.

You can also search upgrades, etc.

 

Which platform are you using to log in? Have you tried a different browser? Have you tried to type in the Search box when the list of items opens to see if that will narrow it down?

I have checked your account under Flash Player and everything is working correctly. When you click on "My searches" and the pop up appears, it will list everything that can be traded:

The tabs show how many of that item you have.

I know that the items that I have show up but I am looking for something I DON"T HAVE & all that comes up when I search for something I want is the items I already have. IT IS NOT WORKING - I have tried & tried. I am using Firefox & using Unity

 

If you do not see an item available, perhaps it is not included in this edition of Gift and Trade. If you tell us what you are looking for, we can confirm if it can be traded.

You can also try a different browser to use Unity. You may also choose to download the Standalone client to see if that improves the event for you or you can opt to log in with Flash as there are no reported issues with Flash at this time.
