Thank you for the numbers Northy,

A busy weekend ahead, I took your advice and completed MM first, currently growing on the main farm, I also managed to complete the two new FSQs.

I think it will be a struggle to get enough amber to complete the second part of 'Treasure of the Past' unless I buy some baskets, I will need some luck on the Farm Wheel to get some crop boosts so the recurring amber tiles can be activated.

I am not liking this event , I keep forgetting or too busy to harvest Amber every 5 hours i not unlocked 2nd Amber Yet

I just do what i can, I and many others dislike re activating every 5 Hours it does not help us getting any decent sleep we are not young anymore as our health comes first I pray and think of those who are ill or struggling with their health

Waking up in the middle of the night or ttoo busy with our lives take away the fun from this event

 

Today is Sunday morning where I live. I have all 3 paths done and now have all 3 Amber givers harvesting at the same time. I have also played the 1st row of 3 puzzles. I got my crops grown on each land by having nothing on all 3 lands. I then used 1x1's with water, manure, and Green water as I did get 2 pluses for 6 hours and a 100% for 24 hours I am doing better than I thought I would but it was my choice to attempt this game! No baskets bought, and all my neighbors know I always buy Green water when it goes on sale! I like to be prepared sometimes I need it sometimes I don't! Good luck and I hope we all reach our goals!

 

I wish we could play the puzzles with less amber. It would be fun to be playing them in between waiting for harvests, but they require so much amber I haven't even been able to play a full one yet. The wheel has not been kind to me, so I'm plodding along. Finished Moonlight, now working on main farm. Glad this event is 2 weeks.

I had a look at Prizes for this event doing those Puzzles, Many of us will be struggling getting 425 Ambers it is just insane, inconsiderate and Crazy

As 1 amber is needed per puzzle, Just Focus on the Prizes that are handy and useful, Firstly we do not need those Stickers [Stickers needs to be removed from all Events] as not body looks at the Scrap Book Admiring those stickers Therefore avoid doing those Blue Puzzles Boxes

TAKE NOTE: The Puzzle Levels are in reversed order example Level 15 Reward is Puzzle Box 1

Please Double Check

Just avoid doing those Sticker Puzzle rewards save you 75 Ambers

Also Getting 4 Seasons Tokens is better than getting 1785 Season Points another 25 Ambers Saving

Therefore we not need to Fret getting those Ambers too much Just do what you can I now unlocked Purple as green is all done

 

you misunderstood...you have to do the puzzles in sequence vertically, one after the other, you can not skip any or just choose the puzzles you want to do and you can not move horizontally from one row to the other...i have tried.
so you have to do the first puzzle of each row which is a sticker reward then work your way up vertically one after the other until you reach the 4th layer which has the giver needed for the cloud row. you will see the blue line between puzzles light up as your move upwards, if you could move in other directions there would be blue lines/paths between the puzzles like in the last event where there were puzzles arranged in a square with lines vertically, horizontally and diagonally...there is no quick fix/cheat to get to the givers or choose which puzzles you attempt.

i have finished the first row and got the first giver, i now have to start the next row which is yet another sticker and then the 3rd sticker

 

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but we cannot chose which puzzle we want to play. We start from the bottom of each colum and can only go up. In the first iteration of the puzzles, prizes were linked with a set number of puzzle pieces played. I don't know if it's like that here. The only thing I'm sure about is that numbers in the table & puzzles do not match. Are the three givers set in the 4th highest space in all three columns, anyone know?

I played the puzzle listed as #13 and it gave me the sticker #3, so there's no way to know which prized is set to which puzzzle

 

All the paths - done. Now collecting Ambers every 5h. Next our local time 02.36 (and Roland Carros tennis just ended so have to watch something else now, maybe do some food, leftover meats and Noodles...)

 

You can work one row at a time. I know it doesn't really help as you need all three giver items at level 4. You don't have to the sticker on each row first to move up.

 

unfortunately yes you do have to do the sticker puzzles at the bottom of each row...you can not progress up the ladder without do each of the bottom steps...which are the sticker rewards.

ive tried, it is not possible...they have to be done in sequence.
im now half way up the second ladder....i tried to get around it but you can not.

 

I have decided to do puzzles first and then worry about getting 30 amber for cloud row. If I don't have three row items it is a mute point.

 

Paths ready, CR collected and over 50% Ambers "in the house" 235 is my number, amber collect 4 times in 24h, so +60 evey "day". 395-235 = 160, so 3 more days and ready, almost 200 hours left. When all 395 ambers collected, then I play all the puzzles.

 

You can BUY ambers with BBs. They are 2BBs each. I mention this because if it were to come down to missing one or two ambers to get the CR and the givers for the CR - I'd be buying a couple ambers with BBs.

SL's farm is almost completely done with the event - I think that farm needs to complete the last 3 jigsaw puzzles for the special givers. CR is up and running.

This farm has just managed to activate the second (yellow) giver of ambers. It's been a slog. Doubt this farm will get the CR or the special givers, but there have been some nice goodies along the way, so it's all good.

Back home again and no idea where I am with this event!

I know I will not get enough Ambers to complete but will carry on blindly for the next week and see how it goes. I do think I will finish the crops - Purple and Green done, just Yellow to go. Will finish these in a couple of days.

Thanks PM for the info on buying Ambers - I'm with you, if it's just a couple, I think I can spare the BBs, any more and I will just take what I can get from the event!
It's a shame we couldn't give Amber as a gift - the requirement is pretty excessive IMO.

 

I opened all three of the amber squares. It is necessary to harvest every 5 hours and a little advice for forgetful people like me. I set my clock or I will forget. Good luck to the farmers who participated in the event. I hope everyone reaches their goals. Good luck to everyone.

 

I'm okay with the first and last harvest of the Ambers, it's the one in the middle that I forget and if it's missed, that throws the last one out!

I have just calculated that if I manage to harvest the Ambers three times a day from tomorrow (when I will have the third one open), I will get exactly 425 Ambers - seems a bit spooky to me but that's the number I come up with!

I will open that last one today so I will have a bit of wriggle room though I won't have enough crops to plant a full field (even with the CFs I am using) but the crops (for a pleasant change) aren't a problem! Famous last words!

I have just put the CR and 3 givers up and running! I have 20 Ambers and need a total of 70 to finish the 5th and final row.
I did the event by getting the Ambers for each row, so I could do all 3 puzzles required, then get enough Ambers to play the next row of puzzles. That is what has worked for me, and I did wait till I got all 3 givers by doing row 4 before I went back and spent 30 ambers to get the stalk! Good luck and I have had fun with this event, I hope you all reach your goals too! I have NEVER slept well at night so to harvest my ambers when needed has not been a problem and I also had all 3 of them being harvested at the same time which made it much easier to do!

 

To only get the 3 givers the number of ambers goes down to 355, just play the first 4 puzzles of each column and you'll be fine. At least that's what my baby farm will do (I'm still growing the baha event crop and haven't opened its amber dispenser yet).

Congrats on making it already! Yesterday was the first day that I remebered to harvest the ambers each 5h... I'm getting forgetful!

 

PM23's farm just got the purple tower for ambers opened so 15 ambers per harvest moving forward. What a slog. But, getting there.
