Tree upgrade

What happens if you upgrade a tree with a 12 h- XXL and the first tree has less time left than 12 h? If it has also a suzy's super-grow or turbo-mulch?
The same for a stable if you add power-feed and then a red upgrade with longer time than what is left for the first one?

Any tree upgraded with an XXL will take on the time of the XXL upgrade regardless of the time left on the base tree. Any Suzy's super-grow applied to the base tree will be kept.
Any upgrades placed over a base stable will take on the time of the base stable, any water and Power-feed used will also be kept.

Only to avoid any misunderstanding: If you happen to upgrade with a 12 h-XXL when it is 2 h left for the base tree it will be 12 hours left for the uphraded tree? For the stable case, you mean the actual time left for the base stable when upgraded?

You are correct. Regardless of how much is remaining on a base tree, when you place an XXL upgrade the new time will be 12 hours.

For stables, the upgrades placed over the base considers time the base was used. Let's consider an example to help see the difference between trees and stables.

Base tree is 20 hours. With a time remaining of 1.5 hours, an XXL upgrade is applied and the new time is 12 hours.

A base bear stable is 17 hours. With PF it is 8.5 hours.
A Red bear upgrade is 18:45 hours. If you applied it immediately on the base, the time will be 9:23 hours.
If the base bear pen had been running for an hour before you applied the red upgrade, your time would be 8:23 hours.
