Tropical EP Change to EP in Crafting Items

I have been playing Farmerama since April and have enjoyed most of the game.
But I discovered today that Crafting items such as Winter Jam and Lavender Jam now give EP instead of Tropical EP. I had bought some of those items yesterday specifically to get Tropical EP from using them.
I ended up selling those items back in the market at much less than I paid for them, because they were not worth as much anymore.
I think that, as a courtesy, game designers could have notified players they were changing most Tropical EP Crafting items to EP. I feel it was unfair not to let us know they were going to do this. I am 20 bananas from finally being able to open the panel that will allow me to open the last part of the Tropical field. Now it will take me much longer, because I cannot use more crafting items to get more Tropical EP.

Hello Tarawolf,

I am sorry that the descriptions when hovering over several items showed the wrong EP information. This was a bug and has since been fixed. There are crafting products that increase EP on the Tropical fields, Chocolate Shake, Green Mateato etc. The correct information can be found in the Artisan Village Products FAQ.

I think the game designers wanted people not to get Tropical XP as fast as the crafting items allowed. I feel like I was deceived. I've spent some $$$ on the game in the appx 30 days I've been playing. I'll be spending much less in the next 30 days I think.
